Abstract

The invention proposes a backlight unit and display device comprising this backlight unit. This backlight unit can reduce the number of light sources and can provide uniform illumination to the area where light sources are located and the area where light sources are not located, by arranging a reflective pattern on the upper surface of each light source to emit light through the reflector of the light source and allowing light to be emitted along the light guide between the light sources to be emitted above the light guide by a reflector placed in the area between the light sources.
