Abstract

The definition generally refers to wireless communication, specifically to wireless communication devices at the user equipment and base station. In some respects, the user equipment (UE) can receive, from the base station, configuration messages indicating a small data transmission group (CG-SDT) consisting of a UE-CG-SDT group coupled with the base station's downlink array and one or more CG-SDT instances. The UE can transmit, to the base station and, in one or more CG-SDT instances, an uplink communication by using the UE's uplink array corresponding to the UE's downlink array, where the UE's downlink array coupled with the base station's downlink array is used to transmit at least one of the configuration messages, paging messages, or reference signals.
