WIRELESS COMMUNICATION METHODS

Abstract

The invention proposes methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication. The first device can be combined with the second device to form a virtual device configured for communication with a radio access network. The virtual device can appear as a single device from the perspective of the radio access network. A third device can then be identified to replace the second device in the virtual device. Based on the identification of the third device, a communication handover procedure from the second device to the third device can be implemented. These procedures may include beam management procedures, random access procedures, mobility management procedures, or any combination thereof.
