Abstract

In one respect, user equipment (LEE) (e.g., pedestrian user equipment (PUE) or vehicle user equipment (VUE)) performs one or more sub-link positioning measurements on the first sub-link positioning signal between the PUE and the VUE. The UE transmits data based on one or more sub-link positioning measurements to the Road Side Unit (RSU). The RSU receives the measurement data and determines a position estimate for the PUE. The RSU transmits the position estimate to the PUE, at least one VUE, or a combination thereof.
