AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional tape applying apparatuses face challenges in moving anisotropic conductive tape members with high precision due to friction and tension fluctuations, leading to variations in the length of the tape attached to a workpiece.

Method used

The tape pasting device incorporates a transport section, cutting section with downstream and upstream cutting blades, and a tape removal section to ensure the anisotropic conductive tape is cut to a uniform predetermined length, with the cutting section operating intermittently and the tape removal section removing the gap length portion between cuts, maintaining precision despite potential errors in tape transport.

Benefits of technology

This approach ensures that the anisotropic conductive tape is consistently attached to the workpiece at a uniform length, with errors affecting only the gap length, not the predetermined length, thereby maintaining precision and preventing issues like adhesion lift-off or air bubbles.

Description

Tape application device

[0001] The present invention relates to a tape application device for applying anisotropic conductive tape to a workpiece (such as a substrate on which electronic components are mounted).

[0002] When mounting electronic components on a workpiece such as a substrate, a tape application device is used to apply anisotropic conductive tape (ACF tape) containing conductive particles and thermosetting resin to the workpiece.

[0003] The tape application device disclosed in Patent Document 1 listed below uses a tape member formed by laminating an anisotropic conductive tape and a separator, and cuts only the anisotropic conductive tape laminated on the separator to a predetermined length and applies it to a workpiece. Specifically, this tape application device includes a cutter that cuts only the anisotropic conductive tape, a chuck that can clamp and move the tape member a predetermined distance, and a pressure tool that presses the tape member toward the workpiece. After the anisotropic conductive tape is cut with the cutter, the chuck that clamps the tape member is moved a predetermined distance to transport the tape member. The anisotropic conductive tape is further cut with the cutter to leave only the anisotropic conductive tape to the predetermined length, and the pressure tool presses the tape member to apply the predetermined length of anisotropic conductive tape to the workpiece.

[0004] Patent No. 4825654

[0005] In conventional tape application devices such as those described above, anisotropic conductive tape of a predetermined length is obtained by moving the tape relative to the cutter. However, when moving the tape, it is difficult to move it with high precision due to factors such as friction with the tape and fluctuations in tension applied to the tape, and errors of approximately 0.05 to 0.1 mm typically occur. As a result, the length of the anisotropic conductive tape applied to the workpiece varies at least in accordance with this error.

[0006] The present invention is intended to solve these problems, and has as its object to provide a tape application device that can uniformize the length of anisotropic conductive tape applied to a workpiece.

[0007] The tape application device of the present invention comprises a conveying unit that supplies a tape member formed by laminating an anisotropic conductive tape and a separator to a workpiece, and a cutting unit that cuts only the anisotropic conductive tape from the tape member, and applies a predetermined length of the anisotropic conductive tape to the workpiece, the conveying unit intermittently performing the operation of conveying the tape member by a length that is the predetermined length plus a gap length, the cutting unit has a downstream cutting blade and an upstream cutting blade that face the anisotropic conductive tape, and holds the downstream cutting blade and the upstream cutting blade in a state where the length from the downstream cutting blade to the upstream cutting blade in the direction in which the tape member extends is the predetermined length, and is characterized by comprising a blade holding unit that advances toward the anisotropic conductive tape when the conveying unit stops operating to convey the tape member and cuts the anisotropic conductive tape to the predetermined length.

[0008] In such a tape application device, it is preferable that the blade holding unit comprises a holding and moving unit that advances toward the anisotropic conductive tape, a spacer that is detachably held by the holding and moving unit and clamps either the downstream cutting blade or the upstream cutting blade between the holding and moving unit, and a fixing unit that is detachably held by the spacer and clamps either the downstream cutting blade or the upstream cutting blade between the spacer.

[0009] Furthermore, it is preferable that the cutting unit includes a tape removal unit that is positioned between the two anisotropic conductive tapes cut to the specified length and removes the portion to be removed that is the length of the gap in the anisotropic conductive tape, and that the tape removal unit is configured to remove the portion to be removed when the blade holding unit advances toward the anisotropic conductive tape and the downstream cutting blade and the upstream cutting blade cut into the anisotropic conductive tape.

[0010] Furthermore, it is preferable that the tape removal unit has a removal moving part that moves in the width direction of the tape member and an adjustment roller with which the removal moving part can come into contact, the removal moving part being located near the downstream side of the downstream cutting blade and having a sharp part that removes the portion to be removed when the removal moving part moves toward the tape member, and the adjustment roller is capable of bringing the sharp part closer to the portion to be removed when the removal moving part comes into contact with the adjustment roller, and is configured to rotate when the removal moving part moves in the width direction of the tape member while in contact with it.

[0011] When applying a predetermined length of anisotropic conductive tape to a workpiece, the tape application device of the present invention intermittently uses the transport unit to transport the tape material by a length equal to the predetermined length plus a gap length. The cutting unit has a downstream cutting blade and an upstream cutting blade, which are held in a state where the length from the downstream cutting blade to the upstream cutting blade is the predetermined length, and cuts the anisotropic conductive tape when the transport unit stops transporting the tape material. Therefore, the tape application device of the present invention can cut the anisotropic conductive tape so that portions of the tape that are cut by the downstream cutting blade and the upstream cutting blade to the predetermined length alternate with portions of the tape that are cut to the gap length between the two portions of the predetermined length. In other words, the portions of the tape that are cut to the predetermined length are always of a uniform length by the downstream cutting blade and the upstream cutting blade. Furthermore, even if an error occurs when the tape material is transported by the transport unit, the error only affects the length of the gap length portion and not the length of the portion of the predetermined length.

[0012] It is a front view showing typically one embodiment of the tape application device according to the present invention. It is a partially enlarged view of the periphery of the cutting portion shown in Fig. 1. It is a view taken along the arrow A shown in Fig. 2. It is a perspective view of the tape removal portion shown in Fig. 1. It is an explanatory view of the operation when cutting the anisotropic conductive tape.

[0013] Hereinafter, one embodiment of a tape application device (tape application device 1) according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the X, Y, and Z directions correspond to the directions of the arrows X, Y, and Z shown in the drawings, and the X direction will be described as the front-to-back direction, the Y direction as the left-to-right direction, and the Z direction as the up-to-down direction. However, these directions are merely examples and are not intended to limit the orientation of the tape application device according to the present invention.

[0014] FIG. 1 is a schematic front view of a tape application device 1. The tape application device 1 of this embodiment supplies a tape member T, which is a laminate of an anisotropic conductive tape t1 and a separator t2, to a workpiece W. The tape application device 1 cuts only the anisotropic conductive tape t1 to a predetermined length without completely cutting the separator t2. The tape application device 1 then applies the anisotropic conductive tape t1 to a predetermined length L1 (hereinafter, the anisotropic conductive tape t1 of the predetermined length L1 will be referred to as the "application portion t1a"). The tape application device 1 also has the function of cutting the anisotropic conductive tape t1 so that a gap g is positioned between the two application portions t1a, as shown in FIG. 1 . The length of the gap g is referred to as the "gap length L2." The gap length L2 is set to be shorter than the predetermined length L1. In this embodiment, the gap g is, for example, 1 mm or more.

[0015] First, we will explain the workpiece W. The workpiece W is, for example, a substrate on which electronic components are mounted, and various substrates such as glass epoxy, ceramic, glass, FPC, etc. The tape application device 1 of this embodiment is equipped with a stage (not shown) that supports the workpiece W in a horizontal position.

[0016] The tape member T is formed by laminating a long anisotropic conductive tape t1 and a long separator t2. The tape member T is wound in a roll. The tape application device 1 of this embodiment is equipped with a winding reel (not shown) on which the rolled tape member T is set. The tape member T supplied from the winding reel passes through a tension applying means (not shown, for example, a means using a dancing roller) for maintaining a constant tension on the tape member T, and is supported by a first guide portion 2, a second guide portion 3, a third guide portion 4, and a fourth guide portion 5. Note that a recovery means (not shown) is provided downstream of the fourth guide portion 5 for recovering the tape member T that now consists only of the separator t2. As shown in the figure, the tape material T is supported by the first guide portion 2 etc. in an orientation such that the anisotropic conductive tape t1 faces the workpiece W and the separator t2 contacts the first guide portion 2 and the second guide portion 3 (in other words, in an orientation such that the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is on the lower side and the separator t2 is on the upper side where the workpiece W is located). Also as shown in the figure, a cutting portion 10 is provided upstream of the first guide portion 2, and a conveying portion 30 is provided downstream of the fourth guide portion 5.

[0017] In this embodiment, the first guide section 2, the second guide section 3, the third guide section 4, and the fourth guide section 5 are all circular pins. In addition to the first guide section 2 and the fourth guide section 5, the unwinding reel, tensioning means, recovery means, cutting section 10, and conveying section 30 (not shown) are provided on the base 6. The second guide section 3 and the third guide section 4 are provided on the moving block 7.

[0018] The base 6 is configured to move in the vertical direction. Various drive sources, such as a motor or an air cylinder, can be used to move the base 6 in the vertical direction. The tape application device 1 is equipped with a control unit (not shown) (realized by, for example, a PLC (programmable logic controller)), and the operation of each unit in the tape application device 1, including the drive source of the base 6, is controlled by the control unit. The moving block 7 is movable in the horizontal direction relative to the base 6, but is attached so as to be immovable in other directions. In other words, when the base 6 moves in the vertical direction relative to the workpiece W, the moving block 7 also moves in the vertical direction. Various drive sources, such as a motor or an air cylinder, can be used to move the moving block 7 in the horizontal direction.

[0019] 1 is merely an example, and various modifications are possible to the path of the tape material T in the tape application device 1. Furthermore, although the transport unit 30 is provided downstream of the workpiece W in the transport direction of the tape material T, it may also be provided upstream.

[0020] The tape application device 1 also has a head unit 8 above the workpiece W. The head unit 8 can move up and down separately from the base 6. The head unit 8 can press its tip against an object with a predetermined thrust. The head unit 8 is further provided with heating means (not shown), which can heat the object when the tip of the head unit 8 is pressed against the object.

[0021] Next, the above-mentioned cutting unit 10 will be described. The cutting unit 10 of this embodiment includes a support unit 11. As shown in Figure 2, in this embodiment, the support unit 11 is provided on the side where the separator t2 is located with respect to the tape member T, which extends in the vertical direction along the XZ plane above the first guide unit 2. The surface of the support unit 11 facing the separator t2 extends in the same direction as the tape member T supported by the first guide unit 2 and the like.

[0022] The cutting unit 10 also includes a blade holding unit 12. The blade holding unit 12 is provided on the side of the tape material T where the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is located. As shown in Figure 2, the blade holding unit 12 includes two cutting blades (a downstream cutting blade 13 located on the lower side (downstream side in the feeding direction of the tape material T) in Figure 2, and an upstream cutting blade 14 located upstream of the downstream cutting blade 13). The blade holding unit 12 also includes a holding and moving unit 15, a spacer 16, and a fixing unit 17.

[0023] In this embodiment, the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 are thin plates with pointed tips, and the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 have the same shape.

[0024] The holding and moving part 15 is generally block-shaped and has a protrusion 15a at the bottom that protrudes in the Y direction. The holding and moving part 15 moves forward and backward toward the support part 11. In this embodiment, the holding and moving part 15 is moved by a motor, air cylinder, or the like (not shown).

[0025] In this embodiment, the spacer 16 is plate-shaped and has a through-hole (not shown) that extends in the vertical direction and allows a bolt to be inserted therethrough. In this embodiment, the fixing portion 17 is plate-shaped and shorter than the spacer 16 and has a through-hole (not shown) that extends in the vertical direction and allows a bolt to be inserted therethrough. The protrusion 15a has a screw hole at a position corresponding to the through-hole of the spacer 16, and the spacer 16 has a screw hole at a position corresponding to the through-hole of the fixing portion 17.

[0026] The downstream cutting blade 13 is disposed between the protrusion 15 a and the spacer 16 with its sharp tip facing the anisotropic conductive tape t1, and a bolt inserted through a through hole in the spacer 16 is threaded into the threaded hole in the protrusion 15 a, thereby sandwiching the downstream cutting blade 13 between the protrusion 15 a and the spacer 16. The upstream cutting blade 14 is disposed between the spacer 16 and the fixed part 17 with its sharp tip facing the anisotropic conductive tape t1, and a bolt inserted through a through hole in the fixed part 17 is threaded into the threaded hole in the spacer 16, thereby sandwiching the upstream cutting blade 14 between the spacer 16 and the fixed part 17. The lengths in the Y direction by which the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 protrude from the spacer 16 are adjusted so that when the holding / moving part 15 advances toward the support part 11, only the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is cut without completely cutting the separator t2.

[0027] Here, the length from the tip of the downstream cutting blade 13 to the tip of the upstream cutting blade 14 is adjusted to the predetermined length L1 of the anisotropic conductive tape t1 attached to the workpiece W described above, and the vertical length of the spacer 16 is set to meet this condition while taking into account the thicknesses of the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14.

[0028] When holding the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 with the holding and moving part 15, it is possible to use another means, such as providing two grooves in the holding and moving part 15 and fitting the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 into these grooves, instead of using the spacer 16 and the fixing part 17 as described above. Note that when the spacer 16 and the fixing part 17 are used, it is possible to change the predetermined length L1 of the anisotropic conductive tape t1 by simply replacing it with a spacer 16 having a different length in the vertical direction, which is advantageous in terms of workability.

[0029] The cutting unit 10 also includes a tape removal unit 18 as shown in FIG. 4 . The tape removal unit 18 includes a moving removal unit 19. The moving removal unit 19 is provided on the side of the tape material T where the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is located, and can be moved in the width direction (X direction) of the tape material T by a motor, air cylinder, or the like (not shown). The moving removal unit 19 in this embodiment is plate-shaped and extends along the XZ plane, with its upper portion protruding in the Y direction so as to taper. Here, the tapered protruding portion of the moving removal unit 19 is referred to as a sharpened portion 20. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the sharpened portion 20 is located downstream of the downstream cutting blade 13 (below the downstream cutting blade 13).

[0030] Furthermore, the tape removal unit 18 is equipped with adjustment rollers 21, as shown in FIG. 4 . In this embodiment, two adjustment rollers 21 are provided on the opposite side of the moving removal unit 19 from the side on which the tape member T is located, and are attached to the roller holding unit 22 at an interval in the width direction (X direction) of the tape member T. In this embodiment, the adjustment rollers 21 are attached to the roller holding unit 22 so as to come into contact with the moving removal unit 19 when the moving removal unit 19 moves in the width direction of the tape member T, thereby allowing the sharpened portion 20 to approach the anisotropic conductive tape t1. Note that the attachment position of the adjustment rollers 21 relative to the roller holding unit 22 can be changed in the X direction and the Y direction, making it possible to adjust the timing at which the sharpened portion 20 approaches the anisotropic conductive tape t1 and the distance between the sharpened portion 20 and the anisotropic conductive tape t1. The adjustment roller 21 of this embodiment is adjusted so that when the moving removal part 19 moves in the width direction of the tape member T, the sharpened portion 20 shown in Fig. 4 comes into contact with a portion t1b to be removed, which will be described later, and scrapes off the portion t1b to be removed, thereby removing it over the entire width direction of the tape member T. Here, when the moving removal part 19 moves in the width direction of the tape member T and comes into contact with the adjustment roller 21, the adjustment roller 21 is rotated by the moving removal part 19, so that it is possible to prevent strong frictional force from occurring between them.

[0031] The tape removal unit 18 also has a portion-to-be-removed recovery means (not shown) that is, for example, a suction means provided near the portion to be removed t1b, and has the function of suctioning and recovering the portion to be removed t1b when the moving removal unit 19 moves in the tape width direction and the sharpened portion 20 removes the portion to be removed t1b.

[0032] 1, in this embodiment, the above-mentioned conveying unit 30 includes a drive roller 31 that is rotated by a motor (not shown), and a driven roller 32 that rotates together with the drive roller 31, sandwiching the tape material T between the drive roller 31 and the driven roller 32. The motor that rotates the drive roller 31 operates in response to a command from the above-mentioned control unit, thereby enabling the tape material T to be conveyed.

[0033] Next, we will explain the operation of the tape application device 1. In the following explanation, it is assumed that the tape material T is supported by the first guide portion 2 and the like as shown in Figure 1. Furthermore, the support portion 11 and the blade holding portion 12 shown in Figure 5(a) are omitted in Figures 5(b) to 5(d).

[0034] First, in response to a command from the control unit described above, the blade holder 12 is advanced toward the support unit 11 and then retracted, as shown in FIG. 5( a). As a result, the anisotropic conductive tape t1 located in front of the blade holder 12 is cut at position Pa by the downstream cutting blade 13 and then at position Pb by the upstream cutting blade 14. Here, the length from the downstream cutting blade 13 to the upstream cutting blade 14 is set to a predetermined length L1. In other words, the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is reliably cut to the predetermined length L1 by the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 without any variation in length, thereby forming an adhered portion t1a. Note that transportation of the tape material T by the transport unit 30 is stopped until the blade holder 12 has advanced and retracted.

[0035] Next, the drive roller 31 and driven roller 32 of the transport unit 30 shown in FIG. 1 are rotated by a command from the control unit, and the tape material T is transported from the state shown in FIG. 5( a) by a length equal to the predetermined length L1 plus the gap length L2, as shown in FIG. 5( b). When the blade holder 12 is then advanced toward the support unit 11 and then retracted, the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is cut at position Pc by the downstream cutting blade 13 and then at position Pd by the upstream cutting blade 14, as shown in the figure. This results in a next adhered portion t1a being formed between positions Pc and Pd. The portion of the anisotropic conductive tape t1 located between positions Pb and Pc is referred to as the portion to be removed t1b. The portion to be removed t1b is located where the sharpened portion 20 of the removal movement unit 19 is provided in the vertical direction.

[0036] Thereafter, the control unit issues a command to move the moving removal unit 19 in the width direction of the tape material T. As a result, the sharpened portion 20 shown in Figure 4 scrapes off the portion to be removed t1b, thereby providing a gap g between positions Pb and Pc on the anisotropic conductive tape t1, as shown in Figure 5(c). Note that while the moving removal unit 19 is moving in the width direction of the tape material T, the transport unit 30 stops transporting the tape material T.

[0037] When providing the gap g between positions Pb and Pc using the sharpened portion 20, it is preferable to stop the blade holder 12 in a state advanced toward the support portion 11 when cutting the anisotropic conductive tape t1 between positions Pc and Pd, as shown in FIG. 5B . That is, because the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 are incised into the anisotropic conductive tape t1, when the moving removal unit 19 moves and the sharpened portion 20 removes the to-be-removed portion t1b, the downstream cutting blade 13 can avoid contact between the attached portion t1a located between the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14 and the sharpened portion 20. This prevents problems such as twisting of the end of the attached portion t1a by the moving sharpened portion 20. Furthermore, by pressing down the anisotropic conductive tape t1 with the downstream cutting blade 13 and the upstream cutting blade 14, it is possible to prevent positional fluctuation of the anisotropic conductive tape t1 due to vibrations and impacts caused by the movement of the sharpened portion 20. The blade holding portion 12, which has been stopped in the advanced state, is retracted after the sharpened portion 20 provides a gap g between the position Pb and the position Pc.

[0038] 1 are rotated in response to a command from the control unit, and the tape material T is transported by a length equal to the predetermined length L1 plus the gap length L2 from the state in FIG. 5C, as shown in FIG. 5D. Then, by advancing the blade holding unit 12 toward the support unit 11 and then retracting it, the anisotropic conductive tape t1 is cut at position Pe by the downstream cutting blade 13 and at position Pf by the upstream cutting blade 14. Thereafter, by moving the removal moving unit 19 again in the width direction of the tape material T, a gap g can be provided in the anisotropic conductive tape t1 between positions Pd and Pe.

[0039] In this way, by causing the conveying unit 30 to intermittently convey the tape material T by a length equal to the predetermined length L1 plus the gap length L2, and by operating the blade holding unit 12 and the moving removal unit 19 as described above, it is possible to supply the tape material T, on which adhered portions t1a of the predetermined length L1 are stacked, to the workpiece W with a gap g between adjacent adhered portions t1a, as shown in Figure 1. Note that even if an error occurs when the tape material T is conveyed by the conveying unit 30, the error only affects the gap length L2, which is the length of the gap g, and the length of the adhered portions t1a remains the predetermined length L1.

[0040] Thereafter, the base 6 is moved downward to bring the tape member T closer to the workpiece W. The head unit 8 is then moved downward, and the heating means provided in the head unit 8 is activated to heat and press the tape member T with the tip of the head unit 8. This allows an adhesion portion t1a having a predetermined length L1 to be adhered to the workpiece W. Note that the heat generated when the head unit 8 heats and presses the tape member T extends not only to the area where the head unit 8 contacts but also to the surrounding area. In other words, if the next adhesion portion t1a to be adhered to the workpiece W gets too close to the head unit 8, the heat from the head unit 8 may soften the next adhesion portion t1a to be adhered to the workpiece W. Here, if adjacent adhesion portions t1a are lined up without any gaps, the head unit 8 cannot press all the way to the end of the adhesion portion t1a to be adhered to the workpiece W to avoid affecting the next adhesion portion t1a to be adhered to the workpiece W. When adjacent bonding portions t1a are arranged without any gaps in this manner, it is generally necessary to ensure that a range of 0.3 to 0.5 mm from the end of the bonding portion t1a to be bonded to the workpiece W cannot be pressed by the head unit 8 (a margin for remaining pressure). However, in such a region that cannot be pressed by the head unit 8, the bonding portion t1a may lift up from the workpiece W or become entrapped with air bubbles. In contrast, in this embodiment, a gap g (for example, 1 mm or more) is provided between adjacent bonding portions t1a. Therefore, even if the end of the head unit 8 is positioned directly above the end of the bonding portion t1a to be bonded to the workpiece W (and even if the end of the head unit 8 slightly extends into the gap g), the next bonding portion t1a to be bonded to the workpiece W will not be affected. Therefore, the tape application device 1 of this embodiment can prevent the bonding portion t1a from lifting up from the workpiece W or becoming entrapped with air bubbles. After pressing the tape member T for a predetermined time, the head portion 8 is raised above the height shown in FIG. 1 (to a height that does not interfere with the movement of the moving block 7, since the moving block 7 moves to the left as will be described later).

[0041] Thereafter, by moving the moving block 7 to the left from the state shown in FIG. 1, the separator t2 can be peeled off from the anisotropic conductive tape t1 attached to the workpiece W.

[0042] After the movable block 7 has been moved to the left, the base 6 is raised and the movable block 7 is moved to the right to its original position. Thereafter, the workpiece W to which the anisotropic conductive tape t1 has been attached is moved, and a new workpiece W is moved to the position shown in Figure 1, and the tape material T is fed so that the next anisotropic conductive tape t1 is positioned above the new workpiece W. Thereafter, by performing the above-described operations, the next anisotropic conductive tape t1 can be attached to the new workpiece W, and the separator t2 can be peeled off from this anisotropic conductive tape t1.

[0043] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to this specific embodiment, and unless otherwise specifically limited in the above description, various modifications and variations are possible within the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined in the claims. For example, the configurations of the above-described embodiment can be added or deleted as appropriate, and the configurations of one embodiment can be incorporated into other embodiments. Furthermore, the effects of the above-described embodiment are merely examples of the effects resulting from the present invention, and do not mean that the effects of the present invention are limited to the above-described effects.

[0044] For example, the tape application device 1 may be provided with a camera that captures the application portion t1a and a camera that captures the workpiece W, and a control unit (not shown) may be provided with a function for recognizing the positions of the application portion t1a and the workpiece W from image data obtained from the cameras and a function for moving the stage supporting the workpiece W based on the positions. As described above, in this embodiment, a gap g is provided between adjacent application portions t1a, allowing the position of the application portion t1a to be accurately recognized. Then, images of the application portion t1a and the workpiece W are captured immediately before application to recognize the position of the application portion t1a and the position of the workpiece W placed on the stage. The stage is then moved so that the position where the application portion t1a on the workpiece W placed on the stage will match the current position of the application portion t1a. This allows the application portion t1a, which has been accurately cut to the predetermined length L1, to be accurately applied to the application position of the application portion t1a on the workpiece W without being affected by errors when transporting the tape material T.
