Abstract

The invention relates to the field of wireless communication, specifically a method for determining the spatial reuse parameter field in PPDUs and related equipment, and is applicable to wireless local area networks supporting the 802.11 be standard. This method comprises the following steps: the AP sends an activation frame, which is used to activate the station to send the EHT TB PPDU; and the AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station. The common information field of the activation frame includes four UL SRP fields, indicating the total transmit power of the AP and the maximum interference power accepted by the AP. The values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are determined, respectively, based on the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields. In the implementation of this invention scheme, the spatial reuse parameter field of the EHT TB PPDU can be set without changing the frame structure of the U-SIG.

Method and related device for determining spatial multiplexing parameter field in PPDU

[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the China Patent Office on November 12, 2020, with application number 202011263310.4 and application name “Method and Related Device for Determining Spatial Multiplexing Parameter Field in PPDU”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the field of wireless communication technology, and in particular to a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) and a related device. Background Art

[0003] Wireless local area networks (WLANs) have evolved through several generations, including 802.11a / b / g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax, and the currently under discussion 802.11be. The 802.11ax standard can be referred to as the high-efficiency (HE) standard, and the 802.11be standard can be referred to as the extremely high throughput (EHT) standard or the Wi-Fi 7 standard. Unlike 802.11ax, 802.11be will use an ultra-large bandwidth, such as 320MHz, to achieve ultra-high transmission rates and support scenarios with ultra-dense users. In the following text, stations that support the 802.11ax standard but not the 802.11be standard will be referred to as HE stations, and stations that support the 802.11be standard will be referred to as EHT stations.

[0004] 802.11ax WLAN devices (such as access points (APs) and stations (STAs)) can only support half-duplex transmission, that is, only one device can transmit information on the same spectrum width or channel, while other devices can only receive signals but cannot transmit, to avoid interference with the current transmitting device. However, as the density of WLAN devices increases, the overlap of one basic service set (BSS) with another BSS is becoming more and more common, that is, overlapping basic service sets (OBSS) are becoming more and more common. Because WLAN devices located in an OBSS can receive physical layer protocol data units (PPDUs, also known as data packets or data packets) from both BSSs, using traditional methods will result in low transmission efficiency. Therefore, 802.11ax proposes a spatial reuse method, which enables WLAN devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously by adaptively adjusting the transmit power, greatly improving transmission efficiency. Specifically, 802.11ax introduces spatial reuse in the uplink scheduling transmission method based on triggered frames. When sending a high-efficiency trigger based physical layer protocol data unit (HE TB PPDU), the station copies the values of the four uplink spatial reuse parameter (UL SRP) fields (also called uplink parameterized spatial reuse (UL PSR) fields) of the uplink spatial reuse (UL spatial reuse) field in the common information field of the received trigger frame to the four spatial reuse parameter (SRP) fields included in the high-efficiency signaling field A (HE-SIG-A) of the HE TB PPDU.

[0005] However, the 802.11be standard will continue to use the uplink scheduling transmission method based on trigger frames in the 802.11ax standard. However, due to the structural differences between the HE TB PPDU and the extremely high throughput trigger-based physical layer protocol data unit (EHT TB PPDU), the Universal Signaling Field (Universal SIG, U-SIG) of the EHT TB PPDU can only contain a maximum of two SRP fields due to limited space. Therefore, in scenarios where trigger frames schedule EHT sites, or schedule HE sites and EHT sites simultaneously, how to set the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the EHT TB PPDU has become an urgent problem to be solved.

[0006] Summary of the Invention

[0007] The embodiments of the present application provide a method and related apparatus for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU. In scenarios where a trigger frame schedules an EHT site or schedules both an HE site and an EHT site, the frame structure of the EHT TB PPDU remains unchanged, and the spatial multiplexing parameter field of the EHT TB PPDU is set based on the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame.

[0008] The present application is introduced below from different aspects. It should be understood that the implementation methods and beneficial effects of the following different aspects can be referenced to each other.

[0009] In a first aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: an AP sending a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields, which are used to indicate the sum of the AP's transmit power and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP. The U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes only two SRP fields, namely the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field. The SRP1 field and the SRP2 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP values on different subchannels, and the SRP value is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the corresponding subchannel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP. The values indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG are respectively determined based on the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0010] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0011] On the one hand, this solution does not change the content of the trigger frame (i.e., does not change the UL SRP value in the trigger frame), allowing the HE station to set the spatial multiplexing parameters in the original manner, and for the HE station, there is no loss of granularity. On the other hand, without changing the U-SIG frame structure (e.g., maintaining a 1-byte length), the spatial multiplexing parameters in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are set based on the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame, so that the trigger frame can schedule the EHT station to send an uplink EHT TB PPDU, and also enable the HE station and the EHT station to be scheduled in the same trigger frame.

[0012] In a second aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: a STA receiving a trigger frame from an AP, the trigger frame being used to trigger the STA to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the STA sending the EHT TB PPDU.

[0013] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0014] Optionally, before the STA sends the EHT TB PPDU, the method further includes: the STA setting the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU according to the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame, wherein the length of each SRP field in the U-SIG is 4 bits.

[0015] In a third aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be an AP or a chip within the AP, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a processing unit configured to generate a trigger frame, the trigger frame configured to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU; a transceiver configured to send the trigger frame; and the transceiver configured to receive the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station. The values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are determined based on the values indicated by one or more UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0016] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0017] In a fourth aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be a STA or a chip in the STA, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a transceiver unit, configured to receive a trigger frame, the trigger frame being configured to trigger the STA to send an EHT TB PPDU; a processing unit, configured to generate an EHT TB PPDU, wherein the values indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are determined based on the values indicated by one or more UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame; and the transceiver unit is further configured to send the EHT TB PPDU.

[0018] Optionally, the processing unit is further configured to set the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU according to the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame, wherein the length of each SRP field in the U-SIG is 4 bits.

[0019] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0020] In one implementation of any of the above aspects, the four UL SRP fields are respectively a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields are the same, and the value indicated by the SRP1 field and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are both equal to the value indicated by any UL SRP field among the four UL SRP fields.

[0021] In one implementation of any of the above aspects, the four UL SRP fields are respectively a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 40 MHz, the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP value of the first 20 MHz sub-channel on the 40 MHz channel from low to high frequency, and the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are the same; the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP value of the second 20 MHz sub-channel on the 40 MHz channel from low to high frequency, and the values indicated by the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are the same. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field or the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field or the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field.

[0022] In one implementation of any of the above aspects, the four UL SRP fields are respectively a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of four 20 MHz sub-channels on the 80 MHz channel, from low to high frequencies. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 160 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of four 40 MHz sub-channels on the 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequencies. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field.

[0023] In one implementation of any of the above aspects, the four UL SRP fields are respectively a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequency. The SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the secondary 160 MHz channel are respectively the same as the SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel, that is, the SRP value on the secondary 160 MHz channel is implicitly indicated. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field. The value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field.

[0024] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, 160 MHz, or 320 MHz, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the maximum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the maximum value of the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field. Alternatively, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, 160 MHz, or 320 MHz, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the average of the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the average of the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field.

[0025] In this solution, for 80MHz, 160MHz, and 320MHz bandwidths, the smaller (or minimum) of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field is assigned to the U-SIG's SRP1 field, and the smaller (or minimum) of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field is assigned to the U-SIG's SRP2 field. This ensures that the transmit power of devices in the same OBSS as the AP does not interfere with the AP's transmission on some 20MHz subchannels and addresses the issue of insufficient SRP fields in the U-SIG.

[0026] In a fifth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: an AP sending a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger a site to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU sent by the site. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four uplink spatial multiplexing parameter UL SRP fields, two of which are the same and the remaining two are the same. The U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes only two SRP fields, namely, the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields with the same indicated value, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the other two UL SRP fields with the same indicated value.

[0027] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0028] This solution changes the UL SRP value in the trigger frame (i.e., changes the content of the trigger frame) to adapt to the SRP field of the U-SIG, so that the trigger frame can schedule the EHT station to send the uplink EHT TB PPDU, and also enables the HE station and the EHT station to be scheduled under the same trigger frame.

[0029] In a sixth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: a STA receives a trigger frame from an AP, the trigger frame being used to trigger the station to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the STA sends the EHT TB PPDU. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four uplink spatial multiplexing parameter UL SRP fields, two of which are the same and the remaining two are the same. The U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes only two SRP fields, namely, an SRP1 field and an SRP2 field. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields indicating the same value, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the other two UL SRP fields indicating the same value.

[0030] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0031] Optionally, before the STA sends the EHT TB PPDU, the method further includes: the STA setting the value indicated by the SRP1 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields with the same indicated values, and setting the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value indicated by any one of the other two UL SRP fields with the same indicated values. The length of each SRP field in the U-SIG is 4 bits.

[0032] In a seventh aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be an AP or a chip in the AP, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a processing unit, configured to generate a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU, the common information field of the trigger frame including four uplink spatial multiplexing parameter UL SRP fields, two of the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields being the same and the remaining two being the same; a transceiver unit, configured to send the trigger frame; the transceiver unit is further configured to receive an EHT TB PPDU sent by the station, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields having the same value, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields having the same value.

[0033] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0034] In an eighth aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be a STA or a chip in a STA, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a transceiver unit, configured to receive a trigger frame, the trigger frame being configured to trigger the station to send an EHT TB PPDU, the common information field of the trigger frame including four uplink spatial multiplexing parameter UL SRP fields, two of the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields being the same and the remaining two being the same; a processing unit, configured to generate an EHT TB PPDU, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields having the same value, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields having the same value; and the transceiver unit being further configured to send the EHT TB PPDU.

[0035] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0036] Optionally, the processing unit is further configured to set the value indicated by the SRP1 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields having the same indicated value, and set the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value indicated by any one of the other two UL SRP fields having the same indicated value. The length of each SRP field in the U-SIG is 4 bits.

[0037] In one implementation of any of the above aspects, the four UL SRP fields are UL SRP1, UL SRP2, UL SRP3, and UL SRP4. The UL SRP1 and UL SRP2 fields indicate the same value, and the UL SRP3 and UL SRP4 fields indicate the same value.

[0038] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 20 MHz sub-channels on the 80 MHz channel, from low to high frequencies. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 160 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequencies. When the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz, the four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequencies. The SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the secondary 160 MHz channel are the same as the SRP values of the four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel. That is, the SRP value of the secondary 160 MHz channel is implicitly indicated.

[0039] In a ninth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: an AP sending a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station. The trigger frame carries first indication information, the first indication information being used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU. The value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is determined based on the first indication information.

[0040] Optionally, the first indication information is located in the user information field of the trigger frame, and the value of the AID12 field of the user information field is a preset value, which is any one of 2008 to 2044, or 2046 to 4095.

[0041] Optionally, the common information field of the first indication information also includes four UL SRP fields, and the four UL SRP fields are respectively used to indicate the values of four SRP fields in the HE TB PPDU.

[0042] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0043] This solution uses a special user information field in the trigger frame to indicate a separate spatial multiplexing parameter for the EHT TB PPDU. Its meaning is clear and does not affect the scheduling of HE sites. HE sites and EHT sites can be scheduled in the same trigger frame.

[0044] In a tenth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: a STA receiving a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger the station to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the STA sending the EHT TB PPDU.

[0045] Optionally, the first indication information is located in the user information field of the trigger frame, and the value of the AID12 field of the user information field is a preset value, which is any one of 2008 to 2044, or 2046 to 4095.

[0046] Optionally, the common information field of the first indication information also includes 4 UL SRP fields, and the 4 UL SRP fields are respectively used to indicate the values of the 4 SRP fields in the HE TB PPDU.

[0047] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0048] In an eleventh aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be an AP or a chip in the AP, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a processing unit, configured to generate a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU, the trigger frame carrying first indication information, the first indication information being used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU; a transceiver unit, configured to send the trigger frame; the transceiver unit is further configured to receive the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station, the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being determined based on the first indication information.

[0049] Optionally, the first indication information is located in the user information field of the trigger frame, and the value of the AID12 field of the user information field is a preset value, which is any one of 2008 to 2044, or 2046 to 4095.

[0050] Optionally, the common information field of the first indication information also includes 4 UL SRP fields, and the 4 UL SRP fields are respectively used to indicate the values of the 4 SRP fields in the HE TB PPDU.

[0051] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0052] In a twelfth aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be a STA or a chip in the STA, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a transceiver unit, configured to receive a trigger frame, the trigger frame being used to trigger the station to send an EHT TB PPDU, the trigger frame carrying first indication information, the first indication information being used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU; a processing unit, configured to generate an EHT TB PPDU, the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being determined based on the first indication information; and the transceiver unit being further configured to send the EHT TB PPDU.

[0053] Optionally, the processing unit is further configured to set the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU according to the indication of the first indication information.

[0054] Optionally, the first indication information is located in the user information field of the trigger frame, and the value of the AID12 field of the user information field is a preset value, which is any one of 2008 to 2044 or 2046 to 4095.

[0055] Optionally, the common information field of the first indication information also includes 4 UL SRP fields, and the 4 UL SRP fields are respectively used to indicate the values of the 4 SRP fields in the HE TB PPDU.

[0056] Optionally, the trigger frame is also used to trigger the station to send an HE TB PPDU. The values of the four SRP fields included in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU respectively replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields mentioned above. The length of each UL SRP field is 4 bits, and the length of each SRP field in the HE-SIG-A is also 4 bits.

[0057] In an implementation of any one of the above aspects, a bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz.

[0058] In an implementation of any of the above aspects, if the above-mentioned first indication information is used to indicate the values of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, then the values of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are also set to the values indicated by the first indication information.

[0059] In an implementation of any of the above aspects, if the first indication information is used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is set to the value indicated by the first indication information, and the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU may be set to the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) of the values of the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame. The four UL SRP fields are respectively used to indicate the SRP values of four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequency.

[0060] Optionally, when the first indication information is used only to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, the first indication information may also be located in a reserved bit of the common information field of the trigger frame. It should be understood that the reserved bit is different from the UL SRP field in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0061] In this solution, the SRP1 field of the U-SIG is determined by the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame, while the SRP2 field of the U-SIG is determined by the newly added fields / information in the trigger frame. This solution can display and indicate the SRP value on the secondary 160 MHz channel. This provides more flexible indication and does not require the SRP value on the secondary 160 MHz channel to be the same as the SRP value on the primary 160 MHz channel.

[0062] In a thirteenth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: an AP sending a trigger frame, the trigger frame carrying second indication information, the second indication information being used to indicate that the trigger frame only schedules a station to send an EHT TB PPDU; and the AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station. The common information field of the trigger frame includes a first UL SRP field and a second UL SRP field, the first UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value for a first bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value for a second bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, the first bandwidth and the second bandwidth being both half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the frequency of the first bandwidth being lower than the frequency of the second bandwidth. In other words, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate an SRP value for the lower half of the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second UL SRP field is used to indicate an SRP value for the higher half of the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU. For example, if the bandwidth of an EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the lower 40 MHz bandwidth of the 80 MHz bandwidth, and the second UL SRP field is used to indicate the upper 40 MHz bandwidth of the 80 MHz bandwidth. Here, the EHT TB PPDU can be any one of 40 MHz, 80 MHz, 160 MHz, and 320 MHz.

[0063] Therefore, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU received by the AP is equal to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field.

[0064] Optionally, the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field may be any one of a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field, and the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are different. For example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes.

[0065] Optionally, the second indication information may be 1 to 4 bits.

[0066] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the value of the first UL SRP field is the same as the value of the second UL SRP field, and both the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are used to indicate the SRP value of the 20 MHz bandwidth.

[0067] In this solution, when the trigger frame indicates that only the EHT station is scheduled to send the EHT TB PPDU, only the two UL SRP fields in the trigger frame are used (the other two UL SRP fields are reserved) to indicate the SRP values for the lower half of the total bandwidth and the upper half of the total bandwidth, respectively. The EHT station copies the values of the two UL SRP fields of the trigger frame to the two SRP fields of the U-SIG. This not only solves the problem of insufficient SRP fields in the U-SRP, but also saves the indication overhead in the trigger frame.

[0068] In a fourteenth aspect, the present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU, the method comprising: a STA receiving a trigger frame, the trigger frame carrying second indication information, the second indication information being used to indicate that the trigger frame only schedules the station to transmit an EHT TB PPDU; and the STA transmitting the EHT TB PPDU. The common information field of the trigger frame includes a first UL SRP field and a second UL SRP field, the first UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value for a first bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value for a second bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, the first bandwidth and the second bandwidth being both half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the frequency of the first bandwidth being less than the frequency of the second bandwidth.

[0069] Therefore, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field.

[0070] Optionally, the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field may be any one of a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field, and the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are different. For example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes.

[0071] Optionally, the second indication information may be 1 to 4 bits.

[0072] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the value of the first UL SRP field is the same as the value of the second UL SRP field, and both the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are used to indicate the SRP value of the 20 MHz bandwidth.

[0073] In a fifteenth aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be an AP or a chip in an AP, such as a Wi-Fi chip. The communication device includes: a processing unit, configured to generate a trigger frame, the trigger frame carrying second indication information, the second indication information being used to indicate that the trigger frame only schedules a station to send an EHT TB PPDU, the common information field of the trigger frame including a first UL SRP field and a second UL SRP field, the first UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value of a first bandwidth in the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, the second UL SRP field being used to indicate an SRP value of a second bandwidth in the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, the first bandwidth and the second bandwidth being half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and a frequency of the first bandwidth being less than a frequency of the second bandwidth; a transceiver unit, configured to send the trigger frame; and the transceiver unit being further configured to receive an EHT TB PPDU sent by the station, the value indicated by an SRP1 field in a U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and the value indicated by an SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU being equal to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field. Among them, any one of 40MHz, 80MHz, 160MHz, and 320MHz of the EHT TB PPDU.

[0074] Optionally, the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field may be any one of a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field, and the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are different. For example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes.

[0075] Optionally, the second indication information may be 1 to 4 bits.

[0076] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the value of the first UL SRP field is the same as the value of the second UL SRP field, and both the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are used to indicate the SRP value of the 20 MHz bandwidth.

[0077] In a sixteenth aspect, the present application provides a communication device, which may be a STA or a chip in a STA, such as a Wi-Fi chip. [0078] Optionally, the processing unit is further configured to set the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and set the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field.

For example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes.

[0082] In the seventeenth aspect, the present application provides a spatial multiplexing method, the method comprising: a communication device determines the transmit power of a PPDU based on the values respectively indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, and / or the values respectively indicated by the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame; the communication device sends the PPDU according to the transmit power of the PPDU.

[0083] The communication device may be either an AP or a STA. When the communication device is an AP, the PPDU is a parameterized spatial reuse reception (PSRR) PPDU. When the communication device is a STA, the PPDU is a response frame to the PSRR PPDU.

The "first AP" herein is the AP that sends the trigger frame and is also the AP in the above-described method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU. If the station sending the EHT TB PPDU is considered a first STA, the communications device, the first STA, and the first AP are different devices, and the communications device can receive information sent by the first STA and the first AP.

[0086] This solution provides a spatial multiplexing method for EHT TB PPDU, which is compatible with the case of two SRP fields in U-SIG. It implements spatial multiplexing in the EHT standard, allowing devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously, improving transmission efficiency.

In another implementation, the chip may include the radio frequency circuit.

[0109] In one possible design, the device is a chip in the STA of the tenth aspect. Optionally, the processing circuit is further configured to set the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU according to the indication of the first indication information. [0143] The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described clearly and completely below in conjunction with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application.

[0144] To facilitate understanding of the method provided in the embodiments of the present application, the system architecture and / or application scenarios of the method provided in the embodiments of the present application are described below. It is understood that the system architecture and / or application scenarios described in the embodiments of the present application are intended to more clearly illustrate the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application and do not constitute a limitation on the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application.

[0145] The present application provides a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU. In scenarios where an EHT site is scheduled in a trigger frame, or a HE site and an EHT site are scheduled simultaneously, the frame structure of the EHT TB PPDU remains unchanged. Specifically, the length of the U-SIG field of the EHT TB PPDU remains unchanged (i.e., maintained at 8 bits). The spatial multiplexing parameter field of the EHT TB PPDU is set based on the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. This allows HE sites and EHT sites to be scheduled in the same trigger frame, and spatial multiplexing can be implemented in the EHT standard, enabling WLAN devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously, thereby improving transmission efficiency. The method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU can be applied to wireless communication systems, such as wireless local area network systems. The method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU can be implemented by a communication device in the wireless communication system or a chip or processor in the communication device. The communication device may be an access point or a station. Alternatively, the communication device may be a wireless communication device that supports parallel transmission over multiple links, such as a multi-link device (MLD) or a multi-band device. Compared to communication devices that support only single-link transmission, multi-link devices offer higher transmission efficiency and throughput.

[0146] The method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU provided in the embodiment of the present application can be applied to scenarios where an AP communicates with one or more STAs, can also be applied to scenarios where an AP communicates with an AP, and can also be applied to scenarios where an STA communicates with an STA. Referring to FIG1 , FIG1 is a schematic diagram of the architecture of a wireless communication system provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG1 , the wireless communication system may include one or more APs (such as AP1 and AP2 in FIG1 ) and one or more STAs (such as STA1, STA2, and STA3 in FIG1 ), and AP1 and AP2 may be located in the same OBSS. Both the AP and the STA support the WLAN communication protocol, which may include 802.11be (or Wi-Fi 7, EHT protocol), and may also include protocols such as 802.11ax and 802.11ac. Of course, with the continuous evolution and development of communication technology, the communication protocol may also include the next generation protocol of 802.11be, etc. Taking WLAN as an example, the device implementing the method of the present application may be an AP or STA in the WLAN, or a chip or processing system installed in the AP or STA.

[0147] An access point (such as AP1 or AP2 in FIG1 ) is a device with wireless communication capabilities that supports communication using the WLAN protocol and has the ability to communicate with other devices in the WLAN network (such as stations or other access points). Of course, it can also have the ability to communicate with other devices. In a WLAN system, an access point can be called an access point station (AP STA). The device with wireless communication capabilities can be a complete device, or it can be a chip or processing system installed in the complete device. The device installed with these chips or processing systems can implement the methods and functions of the embodiments of the present application under the control of the chip or processing system. The AP in the embodiments of the present application is a device that provides services for STAs and can support the 802.11 series of protocols. For example, the AP can be a communication entity such as a communication server, router, switch, bridge, etc.; the AP can include various forms of macro base stations, micro base stations, relay stations, etc. Of course, the AP can also be a chip and processing system in these various forms of devices, thereby implementing the methods and functions of the embodiments of the present application.

[0148] A station (e.g., STA1, STA2, or STA3 in FIG1 ) is a device with wireless communication capabilities that supports communication using the WLAN protocol and has the ability to communicate with other stations or access points in the WLAN network. In a WLAN system, a station can be referred to as a non-access point station (non-AP STA). For example, a STA is any user communication device that allows a user to communicate with an AP and, in turn, with a WLAN. The device with wireless communication capabilities can be a complete device, or a chip or processing system installed in the complete device. Devices installed with these chips or processing systems can implement the methods and functions of the embodiments of the present application under the control of the chip or processing system. For example, a STA can be a user device that can be connected to the Internet, such as a tablet computer, desktop, laptop, notebook computer, ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), handheld computer, netbook, personal digital assistant (PDA), mobile phone, or an IoT node in the Internet of Things, or an in-vehicle communication device or entertainment device, gaming device or system, or global positioning system device in the Internet of Vehicles. A STA can also be the chip and processing system in these terminals.

[0149] WLAN systems provide high-speed, low-latency transmission. As WLAN application scenarios continue to evolve, they will be applied to a wider range of scenarios and industries, including the Internet of Things (IoT), the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), the banking industry, corporate offices, stadiums and exhibition halls, concert halls, hotel rooms, dormitories, hospital wards, classrooms, supermarkets, plazas, streets, production workshops, and warehouses. Devices supporting WLAN communication (such as access points or stations) can include sensor nodes in smart cities (such as smart water meters, smart electricity meters, and smart air quality monitoring nodes), smart devices in smart homes (such as smart cameras, projectors, displays, TVs, speakers, refrigerators, and washing machines), nodes in the Internet of Things (IoT), entertainment terminals (such as wearable devices like AR and VR), smart devices in smart offices (such as printers, projectors, speakers, and audio systems), IoV devices, infrastructure in daily life (such as vending machines, self-service kiosks in supermarkets, self-service checkout machines, and self-service ordering kiosks), and equipment in large sports and music venues. The specific forms of STA and AP are not limited in the embodiments of the present application and are only provided for illustrative purposes.

[0150] The 802.11 standard focuses on the physical layer (PHY) layer and the medium access control (MAC) layer. In one example, see Figure 2a, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of the access point provided in an embodiment of the present application. The AP can be multi-antenna / multi-radio or single-antenna / single-radio, and the antenna / radio is used to send / receive data packets. In one implementation, the antenna or radio part of the AP can be separated from the main body of the AP, forming a remote layout structure. In Figure 2a, the AP can include a physical layer processing circuit and a media access control processing circuit. The physical layer processing circuit can be used to process physical layer signals, and the MAC layer processing circuit can be used to process MAC layer signals. In another example, see Figure 2b, which is a schematic diagram of the structure of the site provided in an embodiment of the present application. Figure 2b shows a schematic diagram of the STA structure of a single antenna / radio. In actual scenarios, the STA can also be multi-antenna / multi-radio, and can be a device with more than two antennas, and the antenna / radio is used to send / receive data packets. In one implementation, the antenna or radio part of the STA can be separated from the main body of the STA, forming a remote layout structure. In FIG2 b , the STA may include a PHY processing circuit and a MAC processing circuit. The physical layer processing circuit may be used to process physical layer signals, and the MAC layer processing circuit may be used to process MAC layer signals.

[0151] The above content briefly describes the system architecture of the embodiment of the present application. In order to better understand the technical solution of the embodiment of the present application, several contents related to the embodiment of the present application will be introduced below.

[0152] 1. Overlapping Basic Service Set (OBSS)

[0153] Overlapping basic service set (OBSS): A basic service set (BSS) operating on the same channel as the station's (STA's) BSS and within (either partly or wholly) its basic service area (BSA) is called an overlapping basic service set (OBSS). A basic service set (BSS) operating on the same channel as the station's (STA's) BSS and within (either partly or wholly) its basic service area (BSA) is called an overlapping basic service set (OBSS). A basic service area (BSA): The area containing the members of a basic service set (BSS). It might contain members of other BSSs.

[0154] In other words, the part where the basic service area of one BSS overlaps with the basic service area of another BSS is the OBSS. It is understandable that the overlap here can be a partial overlap of the basic service areas of one BSS and another BSS, or it can be an inclusion relationship, that is, the basic service area of one BSS falls within the basic service area of another BSS. As shown in Figure 3a, Figure 3a is a schematic diagram of an OBSS formed by the partial overlap of a BSS and another BSS. In Figure 3a, AP1, STA1, and STA3 belong to BSS1, AP2 and STA2 belong to BSS2, BSS1 and BSS2 have an overlapping area, and AP1 and AP2 are located in the overlapping area between BSS1 and BSS2, that is, they are located in the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2. As shown in Figure 3b, Figure 3b is a schematic diagram of an OBSS formed by a BSS containing another BSS. In Figure 3b, AP1, STA1, and STA3 belong to BSS1, AP2 and STA2 belong to BSS2, BSS1 contains BSS2, and AP1 and AP2 are located in the overlapping area of BSS1 and BSS2 (that is, the basic service area of BSS2 in Figure 3b), that is, they are located in the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2.

[0155] Optionally, WLAN devices within the same OBSS can receive information from two BSSs. For example, in Figure 3a, when AP1 within the same BSS is transmitting data with STA1, AP2 within another BSS can receive information sent by both AP1 and STA1, or AP2 can also receive information sent by STA3. AP2 can adaptively adjust the power of the PPDU it sends to STA2 based on the spatial multiplexing parameters transmitted by AP1 to achieve simultaneous transmission within the OBSS. Similarly, when AP2 within the same BSS is transmitting data with STA2, AP1 within another BSS can receive information sent by AP2. AP1 can also adaptively adjust the power of the PPDU it sends to STA1 and / or STA3 based on the spatial multiplexing parameters transmitted by AP2 to achieve simultaneous transmission within the OBSS.

[0156] 2. Uplink scheduling transmission method based on trigger frames in the 802.11ax standard

[0157] See Figure 4, which is a schematic diagram of the uplink scheduling transmission method based on the trigger frame in the 802.11ax standard. As shown in Figure 4, the uplink scheduling transmission method based on the trigger frame in the 802.11ax standard specifically includes: (1) the AP sends a trigger frame, which is used to schedule one or more STAs to send an uplink triggered HE PPDU. The triggered HE PPDU can be abbreviated as HE TB PPDU. See Figure 5a, which is a schematic diagram of the frame format of the trigger frame. As shown in Figure 5a, the trigger frame includes a common information field and a user information list field. The common information field contains common information that all STAs need to read, including the AP transmit power (AP TX Power) field and the uplink spatial reuse (UL Spatial Reuse) field. The user information list field includes one or more user information fields, and a user information field contains information that one STA needs to read. See Figure 5b, which is a schematic diagram of the frame format of the common information field and the user information field in the trigger frame of 802.11ax. As shown in Figure 5b, in the user information field, association identification 12 (AID12) represents the association identifier of a certain STA, and the resource unit (RU) allocation (RU allocation) subfield is used to indicate the specific resource unit location allocated to this STA (the STA indicated by AID12).

[0158] (2) After receiving the trigger frame, one or more STAs parse the trigger frame to find the user information field that matches their own AID, and then send the HE TB PPDU on the RU indicated by the resource unit allocation subfield in the user information field.

[0159] (3) After receiving the HE TB PPDU, the AP sends an acknowledgment frame to one or more STAs to confirm that the AP has received the HE TB PPDU.

[0160] Optionally, the meaning and function of each field that may be included in the HE TB PPDU can be referred to as shown in Table 1 below.

[0161] Table 1

[0162]

[0163] 3. EHT TB PPDU

[0164] 802.11be will continue to use the triggered uplink scheduling transmission method of 802.11ax, and the frame format and method flow of its trigger frame are similar to those of 802.11ax. Referring to Figure 6a, Figure 6a is a schematic diagram of the frame format of the common information field and the user information field in the trigger frame of 802.11be. The trigger frame shown in Figure 6a can be used to schedule EHT sites for uplink data transmission, such as scheduling EHT sites to send EHT TB PPDUs. It should be understood that Figure 6a is only for illustration, and the embodiment of the present application focuses on the UL SRP field in the uplink spatial multiplexing field of the common information field. Other fields in the trigger frame may be different from those in Figure 6a, that is, they may have other forms of expression, and the embodiment of the present application does not limit this.

[0165] See Figure 6b, which illustrates the frame structure of an EHT TB PPDU. As shown in Figure 6b, the EHT TB PPDU includes a legacy short training sequence, a legacy long training sequence, a legacy signaling field, a repeated legacy signaling field, a common signaling field, an extremely high throughput short training sequence, an extremely high throughput long training sequence, a data field, and a data packet extension field. The meaning of each field in the EHT TB PPDU is shown in Table 2 below.

[0166] Table 2

[0167]

[0168]

[0169] From the frame structure of the EHT TB PPDU in Figure 6b above, it can be seen that due to the length limitation of the U-SIG in the EHT TB PPDU (the length of the U-SIG is only 1 byte, i.e. 8 bits), the U-SIG contains at most 2 SRP fields, and the length of each SRP field is 4 bits. The common information field of the trigger frame carries 4 UL SRP fields, and the HE-SIG-A field of the HE TB PPDU also contains 4 SRP fields, which correspond one-to-one to the 4 UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. Therefore, in the scenario where the trigger frame schedules the EHT site to send an uplink EHT TB PPDU, the SRP field in the EHT TB PPDU cannot be set according to the setting method of the SRP field in the HE TB PPDU. Therefore, how to set the spatial multiplexing parameters so that the HE site and the EHT site can be scheduled under the same trigger frame has become an urgent problem to be solved.

[0170] The embodiments of the present application provide a method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU. For different bandwidths, without changing the frame structure of the EHT TB PPDU, by setting the uplink spatial multiplexing parameters in the trigger frame and the spatial multiplexing parameters in the EHT TB PPDU, HE stations and EHT stations can be scheduled in the same trigger frame. Spatial multiplexing can be implemented in the EHT standard, allowing WLAN devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously, thereby improving transmission efficiency.

[0171] The technical solution provided in this application will be described in detail below with reference to more drawings.

[0172] The technical solutions provided by this application are described through Examples 1 to 5. Among them, Example 1 describes how to set the spatial multiplexing parameters in the EHT TB PPDU of different bandwidths (20 / 40 / 80 / 160 / 320MHz) without changing the UL SRP value in the trigger frame of 802.11ax. Example 2 describes how to set the UL SRP value in the trigger frame and the spatial multiplexing parameters in the trigger-based PPDU under different bandwidths (80 / 160 / 320MHz). Example 3 describes how to use a special user information field in the trigger frame to separately indicate the spatial multiplexing parameters in the EHT TB PPDU under a 320MHz bandwidth. Example 4 describes how to set the UL SRP value in the trigger frame when only the EHT site is scheduled to send the EHT TB PPDU. Example 5 describes the spatial multiplexing method based on spatial multiplexing parameters in 802.11be. It can be understood that the technical solutions described in Examples 1 to 5 of this application can be combined in any way to form a new embodiment.

[0173] It is understandable that the AP and STA in this application can be either single-link devices or a functional entity or functional unit in a multi-link device. For example, the AP in this application is an AP in an AP multi-link device, and the STA is a STA in a site multi-link device. This application does not limit this.

[0174] It is understandable that the method provided in this application is described below using a communication system consisting of one or more APs and one or more STAs as an example. Among them, the AP supports the 802.11be protocol (or called Wi-Fi 7, EHT protocol), and can also support other WLAN communication protocols, such as 802.11ax, 802.11ac and other protocols. At least one of the one or more STAs supports the 802.11be protocol, that is, there is at least one EHT site. It should be understood that the AP and STA in this application can also support the next generation protocol of 802.11be. In other words, the method provided in this application is not only applicable to the 802.11be protocol, but also to the next generation protocol of 802.11be.

[0175] Example 1

[0176] Embodiment 1 of the present application mainly introduces the setting of spatial multiplexing parameters in the EHT TB PPDU with 20 / 40 / 80 / 160 / 320 MHz bandwidth without changing the UL SRP value in the trigger frame (or without changing the content of the trigger frame).

[0177] Referring to Figure 7, Figure 7 is a schematic flow chart of a first embodiment of a method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 7, the method for determining a spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0178] S101: An AP sends a trigger frame, where the trigger frame is used to trigger a station to send a trigger-based very high throughput physical layer protocol data unit (EHT TB PPDU).

[0179] S102: The STA receives the trigger frame.

[0180] S103: The STA sends an EHT TB PPDU. The values indicated by the spatial multiplexing parameters SRP1 and SRP2 in the universal signaling field U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are determined based on the values indicated by one or more uplink spatial multiplexing parameter UL SRP fields in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0181] S104: The AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station.

[0182] Optionally, the above-mentioned trigger frame can be used not only to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, but also to trigger the HE site to send the HE TB PPDU. Alternatively, the above-mentioned trigger frame is only used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU; or is only used to trigger the HE site to send the HE TB PPDU. The embodiment of the present application focuses on the case where the trigger frame is used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, but is not limited to the case where the trigger frame is only used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, and can also be a case where the EHT site is triggered to send the EHT TB PPDU and the HE site / EHT site sends the HE TB PPDU at the same time. It is understandable that the HE site can only send the HE TB PPDU, and the EHT site is compatible with the 802.11ax protocol, so the EHT site can send both the HE TB PPDU and the EHT TB PPDU.

[0183] Optionally, the U-SIG of the above-mentioned EHT TB PPDU only includes two spatial multiplexing parameter (SRP) fields, namely the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field. The SRP1 field and the SRP2 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP values on different sub-channels, and the SRP value is equal to the sum of the transmit power of the AP on the corresponding sub-channel and the maximum interference power that the AP can accept. The values indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field can be determined according to the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields in the common information field of the above-mentioned trigger frame. It should be understood that the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU can also have other names, such as the PSR1 field and the PSR2 field, which are not limited in this embodiment of the present application.

[0184] Specifically, the trigger frame may be broadcast. After the AP sends the trigger frame, one or more stations may receive the trigger frame. If the trigger frame is used to schedule both an EHT station to send an EHT TB PPDU and a HE station to send an HE TB PPDU, the EHT station may set the values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU based on the values indicated by one or more UL SRP fields in the common information field of the received trigger frame, and then send the EHT TB PPDU. In other words, the EHT station may also set the values of the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU based on the values of one or more UL SRP fields in the common information field of the received trigger frame. The HE station may copy the values of the four UL SRP fields in the received trigger frame to the four SRP fields of the HE TB PPDU, and then send the HT TB PPDU.

[0185] Optionally, the correspondence between the UL SRP field or the value and meaning of the SRP field involved in this application can be shown in Table 3 below. Among them, the uplink spatial multiplexing parameter (UL SRP) field can also be called the uplink parameter spatial multiplexing (UL PSR) field. In this application, UL SRP and UL PSR can be used interchangeably, that is, SRP and PSR can be used interchangeably. It can be understood that the value of the idle multiplexing parameter is determined by the AP and is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power and the maximum interference power that the AP can accept.

[0186] Table 3

[0187]

[0188] It can be understood that in the present application, the value indicated by the UL SRP field can be any value in the second column of Table 3 above, and the value of the UL SRP field can be any value in the first column of Table 3 above.

[0189] Referring to FIG8 , FIG8 is a timing diagram illustrating a trigger frame according to an embodiment of the present application that simultaneously schedules HE and EHT stations for uplink data transmission. As shown in FIG8 , an AP sends a trigger frame that is used to simultaneously schedule HE stations (such as STA1 in FIG8 ) and EHT stations (such as STA2 in FIG8 ) for uplink data transmission. After STA1 and STA2 receive the trigger frame, after a period of time (e.g., a short interframe space), STA1 sends an HE TB PPDU and STA2 sends an EHT TB PPDU. After receiving the uplink multi-user PPDU, the AP responds with a Multiple STA Block Acknowledge (M-BA) frame after a period of time (e.g., a short interframe space) to confirm that the AP has received the PPDUs sent by one or more stations. It is understood that the trigger frame shown in FIG8 can also be used to schedule only EHT stations, i.e., both STA1 and STA2 in FIG8 are EHT stations. It is also understood that the trigger frame shown in FIG8 can also be used to schedule only stations to send EHT TB PPDUs, i.e., both STA1 and STA2 in FIG8 send EHT TB PPDUs.

[0190] The following describes in detail the settings of the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU under different bandwidths. It is understandable that the common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields, namely UL SRP1, UL SRP2, UL SRP3, and UL SRP4.

[0191] 1. Bandwidth is 20MHz

[0192] For a 20MHz bandwidth, only one 20MHz sub-channel is included, and only one UL SRP value and one SRP value are required. However, to unify the indication format, four UL SRP fields are still transmitted in the trigger frame, and the values of these four UL SRP fields are the same, that is, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = UL SRP3 = UL SRP4. In other words, in a 20MHz bandwidth, the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame indicate the same value, or in other words, the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame have the same value.

[0193] For an EHT station sending an EHT TB PPDU, if the 20 MHz bandwidth is used to schedule the EHT TB PPDU (i.e., the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz), the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes two SRP fields (i.e., the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field), and the value indicated by the SRP1 field and the value indicated by the SRP2 field are both equal to the value indicated by any of the four UL SRP fields of the trigger frame. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field and the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG are both equal to the value of any of the UL SRP fields in the trigger frame, which can be expressed as SRP1 = SRP2 = any of the values of UL SRP.

[0194] For a HE site or EHT site sending an HE TB PPDU, if the 20 MHz bandwidth is used to schedule the HE TB PPDU (i.e., the bandwidth of the HE TB PPDU is 20 MHz), the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU are still the values of the four UL SRPs in the copy trigger frame.

[0195] It can be understood that the description of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU in the embodiment of the present application is for comparison with the settings of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU. The embodiment of the present application does not make any changes to the settings of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU, that is, the values of the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame are copied one by one.

[0196] 2. Bandwidth is 40MHz

[0197] Under 40MHz bandwidth, the trigger frame still transmits 4 UL SRP fields, and the value of the UL SRP1 field is the same as the value of the UL SRP3 field, and the value of the UL SRP2 field is the same as the value of the UL SRP4 field, that is, UL SRP1=UL SRP3, UL SRP2=UL SRP4. Specifically, under 40MHz bandwidth, the UL SRP1 field and UL SRP3 field included in the trigger frame are respectively used to indicate the SRP value of the first 20MHz sub-channel (i.e., the lower 20MHz sub-channel) from low to high frequency on the 40MHz bandwidth, and the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field indicate the same value. In other words, the value of the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are the same. The UL SRP2 field and UL SRP4 field included in the trigger frame are respectively used to indicate the SRP values of the second 20MHz sub-channel (i.e., the high 20MHz sub-channel) from low to high frequency on the 40MHz bandwidth, and the values indicated by the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are the same. In other words, the values of the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are the same.

[0198] For an EHT TB PPDU with a bandwidth of 40 MHz, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field or the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field; the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field or the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 40 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP1 field or the UL SRP3 field in the trigger frame, which can be expressed as SRP1=UL SRP1=UL SRP3; the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP2 field or the UL SRP4 field in the trigger frame, which can be expressed as SRP2=UL SRP2=UL SRP4. In other words, at 40MHz bandwidth, the two SRP fields in the U-SIG correspond to the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field (or the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field), respectively. Each SRP field in the U-SIG indicates the SRP value on a 20MHz subchannel.

[0199] For the HE TB PPDU (with a bandwidth of 40 MHz), the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU are still the values of the four UL SRP fields in the duplicate trigger frame.

[0200] 3. Bandwidth is 80MHz or 160MHz

[0201] The 80MHz bandwidth includes four 20MHz subchannels. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields. These four UL SRP fields are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 20MHz subchannels on the 80MHz channel, from low to high frequency. Similarly, the 160MHz bandwidth includes four 40MHz subchannels. The four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40MHz subchannels on the 160MHz channel, from low to high frequency.

[0202] For HE TB PPDU, the four SRP fields in HE-SIG-A correspond one-to-one to the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. For example, the value of the SRP1 field in HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP1 field, the value of the SRP2 field in HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP2 field, the value of the SRP3 field in HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP3 field, and the value of the SRP4 field in HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP4 field.

[0203] For the EHT TB PPDU, however, the U-SIG only includes two SRP fields. Without changing the content of the trigger frame, after receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station can group any two of the four UL SRP fields into one group, and the other two UL SRP fields into another group, and assign the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) of one of the two groups to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and assign the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) of the other of the two groups to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. In one example, the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are grouped together, and the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are grouped together, and the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are assigned to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) of the values indicated by the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are assigned to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. In another example, the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP4 field are a group, and the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP3 field are a group, and the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) among the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP4 field is assigned to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and the minimum value (or maximum value, or average value) among the values indicated by the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP3 field is assigned to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG.

[0204] In another example, after receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station selects the smaller value from the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, and the smaller value from the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field, and assigns it to the SRP1 field and SRP2 field of the U-SIG. In other words, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum value of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field is equal to the minimum value of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz or 160 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the minimum of the values of the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, which can be expressed as SRP1 = min{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}; the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the minimum of the values of the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field, which can be expressed as SRP2 = min{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}. It should be understood that the function min{x, y} represents the minimum value of x and y.

[0205] Optionally, for an EHT TB PPDU, after receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station may further assign the average of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and assign the average of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. That is, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the average of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field is equal to the average of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field. This can be expressed as SRP1 = avg{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}, and SRP2 = avg{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}. It should be understood that the function avg{x, y} represents taking the average of x and y.

[0206] Optionally, for an EHT TB PPDU, after receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station may also assign the maximum of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and assign the maximum of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. That is, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the maximum of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field is equal to the maximum of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field. This can be expressed as SRP1 = max{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}, and SRP2 = max{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}. It should be understood that the function max{x, y} represents taking the maximum of x and y.

[0207] As can be seen, this example selects the minimum / maximum / average value from the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field and assigns it to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and selects the minimum / maximum / average value from the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field and assigns it to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. This allows the SRP1 field of the U-SIG to indicate the SRP value for the lower half of the total bandwidth, from low to high frequency, and allows the SRP2 field of the U-SIG to indicate the SRP value for the upper half of the total bandwidth, from low to high frequency. That is, the SRP1 field of the U-SIG indicates the SRP value for the lower 40 MHz bandwidth of the 80 MHz bandwidth, and the SRP2 field of the U-SIG indicates the SRP value for the upper 40 MHz bandwidth of the 80 MHz bandwidth. The same applies to the 160 MHz bandwidth.

[0208] 4. Bandwidth is 320MHz

[0209] Since the maximum supported bandwidth in the 802.11be standard is 320MHz, while the maximum supported bandwidth in the 802.11ax standard is 160MHz, in order not to affect the setting of the SRP field in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU in the primary 160MHz channel (i.e., the HE station copies the UL SRP value in the primary 160MHz channel to the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU it sends), the four UL SRP fields (i.e., UL SRP1 to UL SRP4) in the trigger frame still represent the UL SRP values in the primary 160MHz channel.

[0210] Therefore, in a 320MHz bandwidth, the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels on the primary 160MHz channel, from low to high frequency. The SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels on the secondary 160MHz channel are respectively the same as the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels on the primary 160MHz channel (that is, the four SRP values on the secondary 160MHz channel correspond one-to-one with the four SRP values on the primary 160MHz channel). In other words, the UL SRP field represents the SRP value within the primary 160MHz channel, which is the same as the indication when the bandwidth is 160MHz. The SRP value on the secondary 160MHz channel is the same as the SRP value on the primary 160MHz channel, and the SRP value on the secondary 160MHz channel is implicitly indicated.

[0211] If no adjustment is made to the trigger frame, the values indicated by the two SRP fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU are the smaller of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field, the UL SRP2 field, and the UL SRP3 and UL SRP4 fields, respectively. That is, the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the minimum of the values indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field is equal to the minimum of the values indicated by the UL SRP3 and UL SRP4 fields. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the minimum of the values of the UL SRP1 and UL SRP2 fields, which can be expressed as SRP1 = min{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}; the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the values of the UL SRP3 and UL SRP4 fields, which can be expressed as SRP2 = min{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}.

[0212] Optionally, similar to the aforementioned 80 MHz bandwidth and 160 MHz bandwidth, SRP1 may be max{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}, and SRP2 may be max{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}; or, SRP1 may be avg{UL SRP1, UL SRP2}, and SRP2 may be avg{UL SRP3, UL SRP4}.

[0213] As can be seen, in the 80MHz, 160MHz, or 320MHz bandwidth, the embodiment of the present application assigns the smaller value (or minimum value) of the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field to the SRP1 field of the U-SIG, and assigns the smaller value (or minimum value) of the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field and the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field to the SRP2 field of the U-SIG. This ensures that the transmit power of devices in the same OBSS as the AP does not interfere with the AP's transmission on some 20MHz sub-channels, and also solves the problem of insufficient SRP fields in the U-SIG.

[0214] It can be seen that under different bandwidths (20MHz / 40MHz / 80MHz / 160MHz / 320MHz), the settings of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, and the settings of the SRP1 field to the SRP4 field in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU can be summarized as shown in the following Table 4. Among them, the " / " in Table 4 represents the "or" relationship, that is, "A / B" means A or B.

[0215] Table 4

[0216]

[0217]

[0218] It can be seen that the embodiment of the present application does not change the content of the trigger frame (i.e., does not change the UL SRP value in the trigger frame) for different bandwidths, allowing the HE site to set the spatial multiplexing parameters in the original manner, and for the HE site, there is no loss in granularity. In addition, the embodiment of the present application sets the spatial multiplexing parameters in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU based on the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame without changing the frame structure of the U-SIG (e.g., maintaining a 1-byte length), so that the trigger frame can schedule the EHT site to send an uplink EHT TB PPDU, and also enables the HE site and the EHT site to be scheduled under the same trigger frame.

[0219] Example 2

[0220] Embodiment 2 of the present application mainly introduces how to change the UL SRP value in the trigger frame (i.e., change the content of the trigger frame) under different bandwidths (80 / 160 / 320MHz) to adapt to the SRP field of the U-SIG, and how to set the spatial multiplexing parameters in the triggered PPDU (HE TB PPDU and EHT TB PPDU) after the UL SRP value in the trigger frame is changed.

[0221] It is understandable that, in actual applications, the second embodiment of the present application can be implemented in combination with certain implementation methods in the aforementioned first embodiment, or it can be implemented alone, and the embodiments of the present application do not limit this. For example, the second embodiment of the present application is implemented in combination with the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG when the bandwidth is 20MHz and / or 40MHz in the aforementioned first embodiment. That is to say, when the bandwidth is 20MHz or 40MHz, the second embodiment of the present application does not change the UL SRP value in the trigger frame, and the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU refers to the corresponding description in the aforementioned first embodiment, and will not be repeated here.

[0222] Referring to Figure 9, Figure 9 is a second schematic flow chart of a method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 9, the method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0223] S201, the AP sends a trigger frame, which is used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields. The values indicated by the four UL SRP fields are two identical and the remaining two identical.

[0224] S202: The STA receives the trigger frame.

[0225] S203. The STA sends an EHT TB PPDU, where the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the two UL SRP fields with the same indicated values, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the other two UL SRP fields with the same indicated values.

[0226] S204: The AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station.

[0227] Optionally, the trigger frame can be used not only to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, but also to trigger the HE site to send the HE TB PPDU. Alternatively, the trigger frame is only used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU; or only used to trigger the HE site to send the HE TB PPDU. The embodiments of the present application focus on the case where the trigger frame is used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, but are not limited to the case where the trigger frame is only used to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU. It can also be a case where the EHT site is triggered to send the EHT TB PPDU and the HE site / EHT site sends the HE TB PPDU at the same time.

[0228] Optionally, the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes only two spatial multiplexing parameter (SRP) fields, namely the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field. The SRP1 field and the SRP2 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP value on different subchannels, where the SRP value is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the corresponding subchannel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP. It should be understood that the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU can also have other names, such as the PSR1 field and the PSR2 field, which are not limited in this embodiment of the present application.

[0229] The common information field of the trigger frame still includes four UL SRP fields, namely the UL SRP1 field, the UL SRP2 field, the UL SRP3 field, and the UL SRP4 field. Of the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields, two are the same, and the remaining two are the same. In other words, the four UL SRP fields can be considered as two groups, each group including two UL SRP fields, and the two UL SRP fields in each group indicate the same value. For example, the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field are considered as one group, and the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field are considered as another group; or the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP3 field are considered as one group, and the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field are considered as another group; or the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP4 field are considered as one group, and the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP3 field are considered as another group. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the UL SRP fields in one group (i.e., two UL SRP fields with the same indicated value), and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by any one of the UL SRP fields in the other group (i.e., the remaining two UL SRP fields with the same indicated value).

[0230] The following describes in detail the setting of the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the triggered PPDU for different bandwidths (80 / 160 / 320MHz), taking the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field as one group and the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field as another group as an example.

[0231] 1. Bandwidth is 80MHz or 160MHz

[0232] The 80MHz bandwidth includes four 20MHz subchannels. The common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields, which indicate the SRP values of the four 20MHz subchannels on the 80MHz channel, from low to high frequency. Similarly, the 160MHz bandwidth includes four 40MHz subchannels. The four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame indicate the SRP values of the four 40MHz subchannels on the 160MHz channel, from low to high frequency.

[0233] In the 80 MHz or 160 MHz bandwidth, the UL SRP value in the trigger frame is changed so that the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field. That is, in the 80 MHz or 160 MHz bandwidth, the value of the UL SRP1 field in the trigger frame is the same as the value of the UL SRP2 field, which can be expressed as UL SRP1 = UL SRP2, and the value of the UL SRP3 field in the trigger frame is the same as the value of the UL SRP4 field, which can be expressed as UL SRP3 = UL SRP4. In other words, for the 80 MHz bandwidth, in the trigger frame, the UL SRP values of the two 20 MHz sub-channels of the first 40 MHz sub-channel from low to high frequency are made the same, and the UL SRP values of the two 20 MHz sub-channels of the second 40 MHz sub-channel from low to high frequency are also made the same. For 160 MHz bandwidth, in the trigger frame, the UL SRP values of the two 40 MHz sub-channels of the first 80 MHz sub-channel from low to high are made the same, and the UL SRP values of the two 40 MHz sub-channels of the second 80 MHz sub-channel from low to high are also made the same.

[0234] For the HE TB PPDU, the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A correspond one-to-one to the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame, that is, the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A still copy the values of the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. For example, the value of the SRP1 field in the HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP1 field, the value of the SRP2 field in the HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP2 field, the value of the SRP3 field in the HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP3 field, and the value of the SRP4 field in the HE-SIG-A is equal to the value of the UL SRP4 field. For the EHT TB PPDU, the U-SIG only includes two SRP fields. The value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field or the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field or the UL SRP4 field. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz or 160 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP1 field or the UL SRP2 field, which can be expressed as SRP1=UL SRP1 / UL SRP2; the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP3 field or the UL SRP4 field, which can be expressed as SRP1=UL SRP3 / UL SRP4.

[0235] Optionally, in an 80 MHz or 160 MHz bandwidth, the AP may determine the method for ensuring that the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field in the trigger frame is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field (or, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2), and the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field (or, UL SRP3 = UL SRP4). In one example, in an 80 MHz bandwidth, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = min{AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the first 20 MHz subchannel, AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the second 20 MHz subchannel}; and UL SRP3 = UL SRP4 = min{AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the third 20 MHz subchannel, AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the fourth 20 MHz subchannel}. The first, second, third, and fourth 20 MHz subchannels are four 20 MHz subchannels with frequencies from low to high in the 80 MHz bandwidth. The function min{x, y} takes the minimum value of x and y.

[0236] Similarly, in another example, in a 160 MHz bandwidth, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = min{AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the first 40 MHz subchannel, AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the second 40 MHz subchannel}; UL SRP3 = UL SRP4 = min{AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the third 40 MHz subchannel, AP transmit power + maximum acceptable interference power for the AP on the fourth 40 MHz subchannel}. The first, second, third, and fourth 40 MHz subchannels are the four 40 MHz subchannels with the lowest frequency in the 160 MHz bandwidth, from lowest to highest.

[0237] Optionally, at 80MHz or 160MHz bandwidth, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = max{AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the first 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel, AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the second 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel}; UL SRP3 = UL SRP4 = max{AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the third 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel, AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the fourth 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel}.

[0238] Optionally, at 80MHz or 160MHz bandwidth, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = avg {AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the first 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel, AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the second 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel}; UL SRP3 = UL SRP4 = avg {AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the third 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel, AP's transmit power + the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP on the fourth 20MHz (or 40MHz) subchannel}.

[0239] 2. Bandwidth is 320MHz

[0240] Since the maximum supported bandwidth in the 802.11be standard is 320MHz, while the maximum supported bandwidth in the 802.11ax standard is 160MHz, in order not to affect the setting of the SRP field in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU in the primary 160MHz channel (i.e., the HE station copies the UL SRP value in the primary 160MHz channel to the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU it sends), the four UL SRP fields (i.e., UL SRP1 to UL SRP4) in the trigger frame still represent the UL SRP values in the primary 160MHz channel.

[0241] Therefore, under 320MHz bandwidth, the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame are used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels with frequencies from low to high on the primary 160MHz channel, and the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels on the secondary 160MHz channel are respectively the same as the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels on the primary 160MHz channel (that is, the four SRP values on the secondary 160MHz channel correspond one-to-one to the four SRP values on the primary 160MHz channel).

[0242] In the 320MHz bandwidth, the UL SRP value in the trigger frame is changed so that the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field, and the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field is the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field. In other words, in the 320MHz bandwidth, the value of the UL SRP1 field in the trigger frame is the same as the value of the UL SRP2 field, which can be expressed as UL SRP1=UL SRP2, and the value of the UL SRP3 field in the trigger frame is the same as the value of the UL SRP4 field, which can be expressed as UL SRP3=UL SRP4.

[0243] For the HE TB PPDU, the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A correspond one-to-one with the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. That is, the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A still copy the values of the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP1 field or the UL SRP2 field, which can be expressed as SRP1 = UL SRP1 / UL SRP2; the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the UL SRP3 field or the UL SRP4 field, which can be expressed as SRP1 = UL SRP3 / UL SRP4. It can be seen that U-SIG uses two SRP fields to determine the SRP value of the entire 320MHz bandwidth (the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame still only indicate the SRP value in each 80MHz subband within the primary 160MHz, and the SRP value in the secondary 160MHz is the same as the SRP value in the primary 160MHz), while the four SRP fields of HE-SIG-A correctly indicate the SRP information on the primary 160MHz channel.

[0244] Optionally, in a 320 MHz bandwidth, the method for making the value indicated by the UL SRP1 field in the trigger frame the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field (or, UL SRP1 = UL SRP2), and the value indicated by the UL SRP3 field in the trigger frame the same as the value indicated by the UL SRP4 field (or, UL SRP3 = UL SRP4) can be determined by the AP. For details, please refer to the corresponding description for the aforementioned 80 MHz or 160 MHz bandwidth, which will not be repeated here.

[0245] It can be seen that under different bandwidths (80MHz / 160MHz / 320MHz), the settings of the UL SRP1 field to the UL SRP4 field in the trigger frame, the settings of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, and the settings of the SRP1 field to the SRP4 field in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU can be summarized as shown in the following Table 5. Among them, the " / " in Table 5 represents the "or" relationship.

[0246] Table 5

[0247]

[0248] It is understandable that in actual applications, if the second embodiment of the present application is implemented in combination with the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG when the bandwidth is 20 MHz and / or 40 MHz in the first embodiment, then the setting of the UL SRP1 field to the UL SRP4 field in the trigger frame, the setting of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG, and the setting of the SRP1 field to the SRP4 field in the HE-SIG-A under the bandwidth of 20 / 40 / 80 / 160 / 320 MHz can be summarized as shown in the following Table 6. In which, the " / " in Table 6 represents the relationship of "or".

[0249] Table 6

[0250]

[0251]

[0252] It can be seen that in the embodiment of the present application, by changing the UL SRP value in the trigger frame (i.e., changing the content of the trigger frame) to adapt to the SRP field of the U-SIG, and by setting the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the U-SIG, the trigger frame can schedule the EHT site to send the uplink EHT TB PPDU, and can also enable the HE site and the EHT site to be scheduled under the same trigger frame.

[0253] As an optional embodiment, for any bandwidth (e.g., 20 MHz, 40 MHz, 80 MHz, 160 MHz, or 320 MHz), the UL SRP value in the trigger frame is changed so that there is only one UL SRP value for the entire bandwidth. That is, the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame are all the same. In other words, for any bandwidth, the values of the four UL SRP fields included in the trigger frame are the same, which can be expressed as UL SRP1 = UL SRP2 = UL SRP3 = UL SRP4.

[0254] For the HE TB PPDU, the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A correspond one-to-one with the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame, meaning the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A replicate the values of the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame. For the EHT TB PPDU, the U-SIG only includes two SRP fields. The values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG are equal to the values indicated by any of the UL SRP fields in the UL SRP1, UL SRP2, UL SRP3, and UL SRP4 fields. In other words, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is any bandwidth, the values of the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG are equal to the values of any of the UL SRP fields in the UL SRP1, UL SRP2, UL SRP3, and UL SRP4 fields, which can be expressed as SRP1 = SRP2 = UL SRP1 / UL SRP2 / UL SRP3 / UL SRP4.

[0255] It can be seen that in the embodiment of the present application, the two SRP fields in the U-SIG still respectively indicate the SRP values within half the bandwidth of the entire bandwidth.

[0256] Example 3

[0257] The third embodiment of the present application mainly introduces the use of a special user information field in the trigger frame to indicate a separate spatial multiplexing parameter for the EHT TB PPDU in the case of 320MHz bandwidth.

[0258] It is understandable that in actual applications, embodiment three of the present application can be implemented in combination with the aforementioned embodiment one or the aforementioned embodiment two regarding the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG at 20MHz, 40MHz, 80MHz and 160MHz bandwidths; embodiment three of the present application can also be implemented alone, and the embodiment of the present application does not limit this.

[0259] Referring to Figure 10, Figure 10 is a third schematic flow chart of a method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 10, the method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0260] S301: The AP sends a trigger frame, where the trigger frame is used to trigger a station to send an EHT TB PPDU. The trigger frame carries first indication information, where the first indication information is used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU.

[0261] S302: The STA receives the trigger frame.

[0262] S303: The STA sends an EHT TB PPDU, and the value of the SRP1 field and / or the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is determined based on the first indication information.

[0263] S304: The AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station.

[0264] Optionally, the trigger frame can be used not only to trigger the EHT site to send the EHT TB PPDU, but also to trigger the HE site to send the HE TB PPDU.

[0265] Optionally, the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes only two spatial multiplexing parameter (SRP) fields, namely the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field.

[0266] The trigger frame may carry first indication information, which may be used to indicate the values of the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU, or the first indication information may be used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU. The first indication information may be located in the user information field of the trigger frame, and the value of the association identifier (AID) 12 field of the user information field may be a preset value, which may be any one of 2008 to 2044 or 2046 to 4095, for example, the preset value is 2044. Optionally, the common information field of the trigger frame may include four UL SRP fields, namely, a UL SRP1 field, a UL SRP2 field, a UL SRP3 field, and a UL SRP4 field. The four UL SRP fields may be used to indicate the values of the four SRP fields in the HE TB PPDU, respectively.

[0267] Optionally, the bandwidth of the above-mentioned EHT TB PPDU is 320MHz. In the case where the HE site cannot transmit on the 320MHz bandwidth, the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame are still used to indicate the SRP values of the four 40MHz sub-channels with frequencies from low to high on the main 160MHz channel. After receiving the trigger frame, the HE site will copy the values of the four UL SRP fields in the trigger frame to the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A of the HE TB PPDU, so the four UL SRP fields can also be understood as being used to indicate the values of the four SRP fields in the HE-SIG-A.

[0268] For the EHT site, the AID12 field in a certain user information field in the trigger frame is set to a special value (for example, AID12=2044) so that the EHT site can recognize that the user information field is for setting the SRP field in the U-SIG. That is, the user information field carries the above-mentioned first indication information, which is used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field and / or SRP2 field in the U-SIG. It should be understood that the HE site does not parse the user information field with a special value of the AID12 field in the trigger frame, or the HE site receives a user information field with a special value of the AID12 field, which indicates that it is not related to the HE site, that is, the newly added first indication information in the trigger frame does not affect the behavior of the HE site.

[0269] When the first indication information is used to indicate the values of the SRP1 and SRP2 fields in the U-SIG, the 8 bits following the AID12 field of the user information field are used to carry the first indication information, wherein the first 4 bits of the 8 bits indicate the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG, and the last 4 bits of the 8 bits are used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field. It should be understood that the 8 bits can be represented by a first field and a second field, the first field being the first 4 bits of the 8 bits, and the second field being the last 4 bits of the 8 bits. That is, the first field following the AID12 field (e.g., AID12=2044) is used to indicate the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG, and the second field following the AID12 field (e.g., AID12=2044) is used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG. It should also be understood that the first field can be called the UL SRP1 field for the U-SIG, and the second field can be called the UL SRP2 field for the U-SIG. The first field and the second field can also have other names, which are not limited in this embodiment of the present application.

[0270] After the EHT station receives the trigger frame, it sets the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to be sent to the value of the first field in the user information field of the trigger frame, and sets the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value of the second field in the user information field of the trigger frame. The first field and the second field in the user information field of the trigger frame correspond to 160MHz bandwidth respectively. For example, the first field corresponds to the first 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency, and the second field corresponds to the second 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency. In other words, the SRP1 field in the U-SIG corresponds to the first 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency, and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG corresponds to the second 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency.

[0271] Referring to Figure 11a, Figure 11a is a schematic diagram of an SRP indication for a U-SIG in a trigger frame provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 11a, the user information field of the trigger frame includes an AID12 field, a UL SRP1 field for U-SIG, and a UL SRP2 field for U-SIG. The value of the AID12 field is a special value, such as 2044. The UL SRP1 field for U-SIG and the UL SRP2 field for U-SIG are located after the AID12 field and may or may not be immediately adjacent to the AID12 field. The UL SRP1 field for U-SIG indicates the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG, and the UL SRP2 field for U-SIG indicates the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG. The value indicated by the UL SRP1 field for U-SIG is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the primary 160 MHz channel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP, and the value indicated by the UL SRP2 field for U-SIG is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the secondary 160 MHz channel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP. The correspondence between the values and meanings of the UL SRP1 field for U-SIG and the UL SRP2 field for U-SIG can be referred to as shown in Table 3 in the aforementioned embodiment 1.

[0272] When the first indication information is only used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG, the 4 bits after the AID12 field of the user information field are used to carry the first indication information, that is, the 4 bits are used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG. The 4 bits can be called the UL SRP2 field for the U-SIG. The 4 bits can also have other names, which are not limited in the embodiments of the present application. Optionally, when the first indication information is only used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG, the 4 reserved bits in the common information field of the trigger frame can be used to carry the first indication information, that is, the 4 reserved bits are used to indicate the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG. The common information field of the above-mentioned trigger frame includes 4 UL SRP fields. After receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station sets the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to be sent to the minimum value of the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame, that is, SRP1 = min(UL SRP1, UL SRP2, UL SRP3, UL SRP4); and sets the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value of the UL SRP2 field for U-SIG in the user information field of the trigger frame. The SRP1 field in the U-SIG corresponds to the first 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency, and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG corresponds to the second 160MHz bandwidth from low to high frequency.

[0273] Refer to Figure 11b, which is another schematic diagram of the U-SIG SRP indication in a trigger frame provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 11b, the common information field of the trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields, which are used to indicate the SRP values of four 40 MHz sub-channels on the primary 160 MHz channel, from low to high frequency. The user information field of the trigger frame includes an AID12 field and a UL SRP2 field for the U-SIG. The value of the AID12 field is a special value, such as 2044. The UL SRP1 field for the U-SIG is located after the AID12 field and may or may not be immediately adjacent to the AID12 field. The UL SRP2 field for the U-SIG indicates the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG. The value indicated by the UL SRP2 field for the U-SIG is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the secondary 160 MHz channel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP, or equal to the SRP value on the secondary 160 MHz channel. For the correspondence between the value and meaning of the UL SRP2 field used for U-SIG, reference may be made to Table 3 in the aforementioned first embodiment.

[0274] It should be understood that the embodiments of the present application mainly focus on the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG under the 320MHz bandwidth. In the bandwidth of 160MHz and below, the setting method of the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG can refer to the relevant description in the aforementioned embodiment 1 or the aforementioned embodiment 2, and will not be repeated here.

[0275] It can be seen that in the embodiment of the present application, under the condition of 320 MHz bandwidth, a special user information field in the trigger frame is used to indicate a separate spatial multiplexing parameter for the EHT TB PPDU. Its meaning is clear and does not affect the scheduling of the HE site. The HE site and the EHT site can be scheduled in the same trigger frame.

[0276] Example 4

[0277] The fourth embodiment of the present application mainly introduces a method for setting the UL SRP value in the trigger frame when only the EHT station is scheduled to send the EHT TB PPDU.

[0278] Referring to Figure 12, Figure 12 is a fourth schematic flow chart of a method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in a PPDU provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 12, the method for determining the spatial multiplexing parameter field in the PPDU includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0279] S401. The AP sends a trigger frame, where the trigger frame carries second indication information, where the second indication information is used to indicate that the trigger frame only schedules the station to send an EHT TB PPDU. The common information field of the trigger frame includes a first UL SRP field and a second UL SRP field. The first UL SRP field is used to indicate an SRP value of a first bandwidth in the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second UL SRP field is used to indicate an SRP value of a second bandwidth in the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU. The first bandwidth and the second bandwidth are both half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the frequency of the first bandwidth is less than the frequency of the second bandwidth.

[0280] S402: STA receives a trigger frame.

[0281] S403: The STA sends an EHT TB PPDU, wherein the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU is equal to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field.

[0282] S404: The AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the station.

[0283] Optionally, the U-SIG of the above-mentioned EHT TB PPDU only includes two spatial multiplexing parameter (SRP) fields, namely the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field. The SRP1 field and the SRP2 field are respectively used to indicate the SRP value on different sub-channels, and the SRP value is equal to the sum of the AP's transmit power on the corresponding sub-channel and the maximum interference power that the AP can accept. It should be understood that the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU can also have other names, such as the PSR1 field and the PSR2 field, and this embodiment of the present application is not limited to this.

[0284] Specifically, the trigger frame carries second indication information, which indicates that the trigger frame is only used to schedule the site (or EHT site) to send an EHT TB PPDU. The second indication information can be 1 to 4 bits. Since the U-SIG field of the EHT TB PPDU only contains two SRP fields, and since the trigger frame does not schedule an HE site, only two valid UL SRP fields are required in the common information field of the trigger frame. The common information field of the trigger frame may include a first UL SRP field and a second UL SRP field. The first UL SRP field may be used to indicate the SRP value of a first bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second UL SRP field may be used to indicate the SRP value of a second bandwidth within the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU. The first and second bandwidths are equal to half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU. The first bandwidth is a low-frequency portion of the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the second bandwidth is a high-frequency portion of the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, that is, the frequency of the first bandwidth is smaller than the frequency of the second bandwidth.

[0285] After receiving the trigger frame, the EHT station sets the value indicated by the SRP1 field in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU to the value indicated by the first UL SRP field, and sets the value indicated by the SRP2 field in the U-SIG to the value indicated by the second UL SRP field. In other words, the value of the SRP1 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the first UL SRP field, and the value of the SRP2 field in the U-SIG is equal to the value of the second UL SRP field.

[0286] It should be understood that if the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 40 MHz, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the first 20 MHz (i.e., the lower 20 MHz) of the bandwidth within the 40 MHz bandwidth, and the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the second 20 MHz (i.e., the upper 20 MHz) of the bandwidth within the 40 MHz bandwidth. If the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 80 MHz, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the first 40 MHz (i.e., the lower 40 MHz) of the bandwidth within the 80 MHz bandwidth, and the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the second 40 MHz (i.e., the upper 40 MHz) of the bandwidth within the 40 MHz bandwidth. If the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 160 MHz, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the first 80 MHz (i.e., lower 80 MHz) of the 160 MHz bandwidth, and the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the second 80 MHz (i.e., upper 80 MHz) of the 160 MHz bandwidth. If the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 320 MHz, the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the first 160 MHz (i.e., lower 160 MHz) of the 320 MHz bandwidth, and the first UL SRP field is used to indicate the SRP value for the second 160 MHz (i.e., upper 160 MHz) of the 320 MHz bandwidth.

[0287] Optionally, when the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU is 20 MHz, the value of the first UL SRP field is the same as the value of the second UL SRP field, and both the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are used to indicate the SRP value of the 20 MHz bandwidth.

[0288] Optionally, the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field can be any one of the UL SRP1 field, the UL SRP2 field, the UL SRP3 field, and the UL SRP4 field, and the first UL SRP field and the second UL SRP field are different. For example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP3 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes (for example, used as parameters for uplink multi-AP transmission. For example, the number of APs, AP identifiers, etc.; or parameters of automatic hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ), such as whether it is a retransmission indication, HARQ combining type, etc.). For another example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP3 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP4 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP2 field) are reserved or used for other purposes. For another example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP1 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP3 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP2 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes. For another example, the first UL SRP field is the UL SRP2 field, the second UL SRP field is the UL SRP3 field, and the other UL SRP fields (i.e., the UL SRP1 field and the UL SRP4 field) are reserved or used for other purposes, and so on.

[0289] It can be seen that in the embodiment of the present application, when the trigger frame indicates that only the EHT site is scheduled to send the EHT TB PPDU, only two UL SRP fields in the trigger frame are used (the other two UL SRP fields are reserved) to indicate the SRP values on the lower half of the bandwidth and the upper half of the bandwidth in the total bandwidth, respectively. The EHT site copies the values of the two UL SRP fields of the trigger frame to the two SRP fields of the U-SIG, respectively. This not only solves the problem of insufficient SRP fields in the U-SRP, but also saves the indication overhead in the trigger frame.

[0290] Example 5

[0291] The above embodiments 1 to 4 describe how one or more stations set the two SRP fields of the U-SIG when sending an EHT TB PPDU in different scenarios. The fifth embodiment of the present application mainly introduces a spatial multiplexing method based on spatial multiplexing parameters in 802.11be.

[0292] It is understandable that, in actual applications, the fifth embodiment of the present application can be implemented in combination with any one of the aforementioned embodiments one to four, or can be implemented alone, and the embodiments of the present application do not limit this.

[0293] It is understandable that in the embodiment of the present application, the first AP and the first STA belong to the same BSS, denoted as BSS1; the second AP and the second STA belong to another BSS, denoted as BSS2. The first AP and the second AP are located in the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2. Therefore, in order to reduce the energy generated when the second AP sends a parameterized spatial reuse transmission (PSRT) PPDU and the interference with the first AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU, it is necessary to constrain the transmit power of the second AP when sending the PSRT PPDU.

[0294] Optionally, the second AP in the embodiment of the present application can receive information sent by the first AP and the first STA.

[0295] Referring to Figure 13, Figure 13 is a schematic flow chart of a spatial multiplexing method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 13, the spatial multiplexing method includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0296] S501: A first AP sends a parameterized spatial reuse reception (PSRR) PPDU including a trigger frame, where the trigger frame is used to schedule a first STA to send an EHT TB PPDU. Accordingly, the first STA receives the trigger frame.

[0297] It is understandable that the PSRR PPDU may include other information in addition to the trigger frame, but the embodiment of the present application focuses on the trigger frame part in the PSRR PPDU, so the embodiment of the present application does not elaborate on other information included in the PSRR PPDU.

[0298] Specifically, the PSRR PPDU containing the trigger frame is used to schedule the site to perform uplink data transmission, such as sending an uplink EHT TB PPDU. As shown in Figure 6a above, the common information field of the trigger frame includes an uplink spatial reuse (UL Spatial Reuse) field. Among them, the uplink spatial reuse field may include four uplink spatial reuse parameter (UL SRP) fields with a length of 4 bits, which are used to represent the sum of the AP's transmit power and the maximum interference power that the AP can accept. The four UL SRP fields included in the uplink spatial reuse field are UL SRP1 field, UL SRP2 field, UL SRP3 field, and UL SRP4 field. Under different bandwidths, the implementation method of the four UL SRP fields can refer to the implementation method of any one of the above-mentioned embodiments one to four, and will not be repeated here.

[0299] S502: The first STA sends an EHT TB PPDU. Correspondingly, the first AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the STA.

[0300] Among them, the "first AP" in the embodiment of the present application is the "AP" described in the aforementioned embodiments one to four, and the "first STA" in the embodiment of the present application is the "STA" described in the aforementioned embodiments one to four.

[0301] Specifically, the implementation of step S502 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of step S103 in the aforementioned embodiment one, which will not be described in detail here. Alternatively, the implementation of step S502 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of step S203 in the aforementioned embodiment two, which will not be described in detail here. Alternatively, the implementation of step S502 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of step S303 in the aforementioned embodiment three, which will not be described in detail here. Alternatively, the implementation of step S502 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of step S403 in the aforementioned embodiment four, which will not be described in detail here.

[0302] S503: The second AP determines the transmit power for sending the PSRT PPDU using parameter spatial multiplexing based on the values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU and / or the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0303] S504: The second AP sends the PSRT PPDU according to the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU. Correspondingly, the second STA receives the PSRT PPDU.

[0304] Specifically, because the first and second APs are located within the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2, the trigger frame sent by the first AP can also be received by the second AP. Therefore, after the first AP sends a PSRR PPDU containing the trigger frame, the second AP receives the PSRR PPDU containing the trigger frame. The trigger frame includes four UL SRP fields, and the value indicated by one UL SRP field is equal to the sum of the first AP's transmit power and the maximum interference power acceptable to the first AP. The second AP can also receive the EHT TB PPDU sent by the first STA. The U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU includes an SRP1 field and an SRP2 field. The value indicated by the SRP1 field is equal to the sum of the first AP's transmit power on the first subchannel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the first AP. The value indicated by the SRP2 field is the sum of the first AP's transmit power on the second subchannel and the maximum interference power acceptable to the first AP. The bandwidth of the first and second subchannels is equal to half the bandwidth of the EHT TB PPDU, and the frequency of the first subchannel is lower than the frequency of the second subchannel.

[0305] After receiving the PSRR PPDU and the EHT TB PPDU (i.e., determining that the first STA has sent the EHT TB PPDU), the second AP calculates the transmit power used to send the PSRT PPDU based on the power of the received PSRR PPDU (i.e., the received power level, RPL), the values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields included in the U-SIG, and / or the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields. The second AP sends the PSRT PPDU according to the calculated transmit power. Accordingly, the second STA receives the PSRT PPDU and returns a response frame in response to the PSRT PPDU to the second AP.

[0306] Refer to Figure 14, which is a timing diagram of the spatial multiplexing method provided by an embodiment of the present application. It is assumed that AP1 and AP2 are located in the same OBSS, AP1 and STA1 belong to BSS1, and AP2 and STA2 belong to BSS2. As shown in Figure 14, AP1 (i.e., the first AP mentioned above) sends a PSRR PPDU containing a trigger frame. After STA1 (i.e., the first STA mentioned above) receives the PSRR PPDU, it sends an uplink EHT TB PPDU according to the instruction of the trigger frame after a period of time (e.g., a short interframe space). Since AP1 and AP2 are located in the same OBSS, AP2 can receive the PSRR PPDU sent by AP1 and the EHT TB PPDU sent by the STA. After AP2 (i.e., the second AP mentioned above) receives the PSRR PPDU and the EHT TB PPDU, AP2 calculates the power used to send the PSRT PPDU based on the power (i.e., RPL) of the received PSRR PPDU and the two SRP values and / or four UL SRP values in the EHT TB PPDU. After detecting the EHT TB PPDU transmission, AP2 transmits the PSRT PPDU based on the calculated power. After receiving the PSRT PPDU, STA2 (the second STA) sends a block acknowledgement frame after a period of time (e.g., a short interframe space) to confirm that STA2 has received the PSRT PPDU.

[0307] Optionally, the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU calculated by the second AP satisfies the following formula:

[0308] (Second AP sends PSRT) PPDU transmit power – log 10 (PSRT PPDU bandwidth / 20 MHz) ≤ SRP–RPL……………………………………………………………………………………………….(1-1)

[0309] Among them, in formula (1-1), log 10(PSRT PPDU bandwidth / 20 MHz) represents the bandwidth normalization factor. In formula (1-1), SRP is the SRP value for a subchannel. In formula (1-1), RPL is the combined transmit power at the receive antenna connector over the PSRR PPDU bandwidth, during the non-HE portion of the HE PPDU preamble of the triggering PPDU (the PPDU containing the triggering frame), averaged over all antennas used to receive the PPDU. The SRP and PRL values in formula (1-1) are bandwidth-normalized. It should be understood that because the value indicated by the UL SRP field is equal to the sum of the transmit power of the AP (here, the first AP) and the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP (here, the first AP), the maximum interference power acceptable to the AP (here, the first AP) is determined by the spatial multiplexing parameter (SRP) value.

[0310] Optionally, the second AP may obtain RPL through the PSRR PPDU, but not obtain UL SRP in the PSRR PPDU, and instead obtain SRP through the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU. That is, the second AP calculates the transmit power used to send the PSRT PPDU based on the power of the received PSRR PPDU (i.e., RPL) and the values indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field included in the U-SIG. Alternatively, the second AP may obtain both RPL and UL SRP through the PSRR PPDU, and after determining that the EHT TB PPDU has been received, does not obtain the SRP in the U-SIG. That is, the second AP calculates the transmit power used to send the PSRT PPDU based on the power of the received PSRR PPDU (i.e., RPL) and the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields.

[0311] Optionally, the above formula (1-1) may be equivalent to the following formula (1-2):

[0312] Normalized transmit power of the second AP ≤ transmit power of the first AP + maximum acceptable interference power of the first AP - power of the PSRR PPDU sent by the first AP received by the second AP (1-2)

[0313] The right side of formula (1-2), that is, the transmit power of the first AP minus the power of the PSRR PPDU sent by the first AP received by the second AP, is equal to the path loss between the first AP and the second AP.

[0314] Therefore, formula (1-2) can also be equivalent to the following formula (1-3):

[0315] Normalized transmit power of the second AP ≤ maximum acceptable interference power of the first AP + path loss between the first AP and the second AP (1-3)

[0316] Among them, formula (1-3) can also be equivalent to the following formula (1-4):

[0317] Normalized transmit power of the second AP - path loss between the first AP and the second AP ≤ maximum acceptable interference power of the first AP (1-4)

[0318] The left side of formula (1-4), namely, the normalized transmit power of the second AP minus the path loss between the first AP and the second AP, represents the interference of the second AP on the first AP. Therefore, formula (1-4) is equivalent to the following formula (1-5):

[0319] The interference of the second AP to the first AP is less than or equal to the maximum interference power acceptable to the first AP (1-5)

[0320] It can be seen that the embodiment of the present application provides a spatial multiplexing method for EHT TB PPDU, which is compatible with the situation of 2 SRP fields in U-SIG, implements spatial multiplexing in the EHT standard, and enables devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously, thereby improving transmission efficiency.

[0321] As an optional embodiment, the spatial multiplexing method provided in the present application can also be applied to the second STA. See Figure 15 for another schematic flow chart of the spatial multiplexing method provided in an embodiment of the present application. It can be understood that the first AP and the first STA in the embodiment of the present application belong to the same BSS, denoted as BSS1; the second AP and the second STA belong to another BSS, denoted as BSS2. The first AP and the second STA are located in the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2. Therefore, in order to reduce the energy generated when the second STA sends the response frame of the PSRT PPDU and the interference with the first AP receiving the EHT TB PPDU, it is necessary to constrain the transmission power of the second STA when sending the response frame.

[0322] Optionally, the second STA in the embodiment of the present application can receive information sent by the first AP and the first STA.

[0323] As shown in FIG15 , the spatial multiplexing method includes but is not limited to the following steps:

[0324] S601: A first AP sends a parameter spatial multiplexing reception PSRR PPDU including a trigger frame, where the trigger frame is used to schedule a first STA to send an EHT TB PPDU. Accordingly, the first STA receives the trigger frame.

[0325] S602: The first STA sends an EHT TB PPDU. Correspondingly, the first AP receives the EHT TB PPDU sent by the STA.

[0326] Specifically, the implementation of step S601 and step S602 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of step S501 and step S502 in the embodiment shown in Figure 13 above, and will not be repeated here.

[0327] S603: The second AP sends a PSRT PPDU, and accordingly, the second STA receives the PSRT PPDU.

[0328] S604: The second STA determines the transmit power of the response frame in response to the PSRT PPDU based on the values indicated by the SRP1 field and the SRP2 field included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU and / or the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame.

[0329] S605: The second STA sends the response frame according to the transmission power of the response frame.

[0330] Specifically, the implementation of steps S604 and S605 in the embodiment of the present application can refer to the implementation of steps S503 and S504 in the embodiment shown in Figure 13 above, and will not be repeated here. It should be understood that the transmit power of the response frame in response to the PSRT PPDU in step S604 corresponds to the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU in step S503, and the method for determining the transmit power of the response frame in step S604 refers to the method for determining the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU in step S503, and will not be repeated here.

[0331] Optionally, the second AP may also be located within the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2. Therefore, in order to reduce the interference caused by the energy generated when the second STA sends the response frame of the PSRT PPDU and the energy generated when the second AP sends the PSRT PPDU, which interferes with the first AP's reception of the EHT TB PPDU, it is necessary to simultaneously constrain the transmit power of the second STA when sending the response frame and the transmit power of the second AP when sending the PSRT PPDU. Therefore, when the first AP, the second STA, and the second AP are all located within the OBSS formed by BSS1 and BSS2, before the second AP sends the PSRT PPDU (i.e., before step S603), the second AP may determine the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU based on the values indicated by the SRP1 and SRP2 fields included in the U-SIG of the EHT TB PPDU and / or the values indicated by the four UL SRP fields included in the common information field of the trigger frame. In this case, step S603 specifically involves sending the PSRT PPDU according to the transmit power of the PSRT PPDU.

[0332] It can be seen that the embodiment of the present application provides a spatial multiplexing method for EHT TB PPDU, which is compatible with the situation of 2 SRP fields in U-SIG, implements spatial multiplexing in the EHT standard, and enables devices in overlapping basic service sets to transmit simultaneously, thereby improving transmission efficiency.

[0333] The above content elaborates on the method provided by the present application. In order to facilitate the implementation of the above scheme of the embodiment of the present application, the embodiment of the present application also provides corresponding devices or equipment.

[0334] In the embodiment of the present application, the functional modules of the AP and STA can be divided according to the above-mentioned method example. For example, each functional module can be divided according to each function, or two or more functions can be integrated into one processing module. The above-mentioned integrated module can be implemented in the form of hardware or in the form of software functional modules. Memory 1004 is primarily used to store software programs and data. Transceiver 1002 may include control circuitry and an antenna. The control circuitry is primarily used to convert baseband signals into radio frequency signals and process radio frequency signals. The antenna is primarily used to transmit and receive radio frequency signals in the form of electromagnetic waves. Input / output devices, such as a touch screen, display, and keyboard, are primarily used to receive user input and output data to the user.

[0376] When the communication device is powered on, the processor 1001 can read the software program in the memory 1004, interpret and execute the instructions of the software program, and process the data of the software program. When data needs to be sent wirelessly, the processor 1001 performs baseband processing on the data to be transmitted and outputs the baseband signal to the radio frequency circuit. The radio frequency circuit performs radio frequency processing on the baseband signal and then transmits the radio frequency signal to the outside in the form of electromagnetic waves via the antenna. When data is sent to the communication device, the radio frequency circuit receives the radio frequency signal via the antenna, converts the radio frequency signal into a baseband signal, and outputs the baseband signal to the processor 1001. The processor 1001 converts the baseband signal into data and processes the data.
