Abstract

The invention relates to a system and method for early warning of vehicle and vehicle traffic that is computer-readable, which provides an on-board controller with a data computing module and a messaging warning module, and an early warning display device with a side screen and a rear screen, such that the data computing module calculates the risk index level of the vehicle before it is about to stop at a station based on the stopping time, stopping distance, number of lane changes and the environmental characteristic coefficient of the route, and then the messaging warning module determines whether the risk index level has reached the warning attention level.Subsequently, when the risk level reaches the alert level, the side and rear displays of the warning device are linked by a messaging alert module, so that at least one early warning message is displayed beforehand via the side and rear displays of the early warning device to alert surrounding vehicles.
