Camera module

Abstract

The camera module consists of a lens module comprising a lens containing multiple lenses arranged along the optical axis and a lens mount attached to the lens; a bearing housing the lens module; a first actuator designed to provide the driving force to move the lens module along the optical axis; first and second ball assemblies designed to guide the lens module as it moves along the optical axis; and a housing housing the bearing and the housing itself. The housing includes a stepped section opposite the first ball assembly along the optical axis. The upper end of the housing opposite the stepped section along the optical axis is lower than the upper end of the bearing housing along the optical axis.
