Abstract

The invention proposes a thin-film transistor and a display device comprising such a thin-film transistor. This thin-film transistor comprises an active layer and a gate electrode located apart from the active layer and overlapping with at least part of the active layer. The active layer consists of a first oxide semiconductor layer and a second oxide semiconductor layer in contact with the first oxide semiconductor layer and having lower mobility than the mobility of the first oxide semiconductor layer, and the contact part, which is the part where the first oxide semiconductor layer and the second oxide semiconductor layer are in contact with each other, overlaps with the gate electrode.
