Abstract

The dynamic coupling and retainer assembly with a pressure-reducing structure includes a hollow fixed retainer; a coupling with mating and fitting ends extended through the fixed retainer to its outer surface, and a spacer between the mating and fitting ends; a sliding washer and a fixed element fitted onto the outer surface of the fitting end to limit the coupling from axial movement relative to the fixed retainer; an elastic element located between the fixed retainer and the sliding washer; a sliding pad with an axial protrusion formed on one side; and a spring fitted around the pad with its two ends pressed against the other side of the mating pad and the shoulder of the coupling. With the pressure-reducing structure described above, the coupling can remain stationary at any radial displacement relative to the fixed retainer.
