Multipurpose filter valve

Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-purpose filter valve. This multi-purpose filter valve comprises a valve body, a rotatable valve plate, a fixed valve plate, and an actuator. The water inlet, water outlet, and drain outlet are arranged on the side wall of the valve body. The drain outlet is constructed to connect to the valve. An inner chamber and an outer chamber are created within the valve body. The inner chamber forms the central drain chamber, the working chamber, the backwash chamber, and the sealing chamber. The first and second filter element separation surfaces are created at the bottom of the valve body. The combination of the fixed and rotatable valve plates enables forward operation, backwashing, and forward washing. This multi-purpose filter valve has a simpler construction and lower manufacturing costs.
