PROCEDURE FOR MANUFACTURING NUCIFERIN NANO EMULSION SYSTEM

Abstract

The invention proposes a process for preparing a nuciferin nano-emulsion system essentially comprising the following steps: i) preparation of the oil phase containing nuciferin; ii) addition of a surfactant mixture including Tween 80 and propylene glycol; iii) further addition of Acrysol K140; iv) addition of the oil phase mixture from step iii) to clean water under stirring conditions to obtain a crude emulsion; v) high-pressure homogenization of the crude emulsion to obtain the nuciferin nano-emulsion system; wherein the conditions of each step are as described in detail in the description. The process according to the invention allows the creation of a nuciferin nano-emulsion system with small particle size, stability, and water solubility, thereby increasing bioavailability.
