Abstract

The invention relates to a device for producing adhesive yarn for the production of adhesive yarn (10), comprising a means of supplying unadhesive raw yarn (11), an adhesive reservoir (2) for receiving and storing adhesive granules (3b), a main heating device (4) arranged at the lower part of the adhesive reservoir (2) for determining the activation zone (20) of the adhesive reservoir (2) in which the adhesive granules (3b) are melted on the surface, a sealed container (6) essentially arranged horizontally, which is arranged in the activation zone (20) of the adhesive reservoir (2) with the first end, in which the sealed container (6) includes at least one inlet opening (7) for supplying, and at least one outlet opening (8) for taking out the thread (10), and in which, when the raw yarn (11) passes through the sealed container (6), the raw yarn (11) is wetted with adhesive on its entire outer surface in a way that does not cause oxidation.In addition, the invention relates to a device for joining workpieces, as well as a method for producing adhesive fibers and a method for joining workpieces.
