Abstract

The invention relates to a process for producing broiler chicken feed to improve meat quality. By supplementing sacha inchi oil (Plukenetia volubilis L.) with a herbal mixture including powdered Bidens pilosa L., powdered cinnamon branches and leaves (Cinnamomum cassia Presl), and powdered Angelica sinensis root, mixed in a ratio of 3 / 1 / 1 (by weight), with the feed components to provide energy for chickens, the broiler chicken feed production process under this invention allows for the production of broiler chicken feed that increases the omega content, especially omega-3, in the finished chicken meat. The herbal components allow for the reduction of barn odor and the improvement of the quality of the chicken meat obtained.
