Single-hole billiard ball holder

Abstract

The invention relates to a pair of billiard ball holders attached to the head rails of a billiard table. Each ball holder is mounted on either side of the centerline of the head rail or the side rails of the billiard table. The ball holders may be located on either side of the receiving box that receives the billiard balls. The ball holders consist of arms and a plate. The arms connect to one of the head rails of the billiard table and form an angle with the plate such that it is at least 90 degrees, but is still narrow enough to prevent the billiard balls from falling. This plate is made using a frame with two long and two short sides forming a rectangle. Crossbars connect the long sides to create open compartments. The open compartments are sized sufficiently to hold several billiard balls in each compartment, but narrow enough to prevent the balls from falling through the compartments.
