Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preventing twisting in ribbed threaded reinforcing bars, a method capable of achieving a non-twisted reinforcing bar along its entire length, and capable of solving the problem of low transportability, and the problem of the possibility of surface roughness occurring on the surface. As a step performed after the forming of the threads (S) and ribs (R) using the thread and rib forming rollers (1), rollers (2) each with a width (W1) larger than the width (W) of the rib (R) of the threaded reinforcing bar (B) are used as a pair of rollers (2) installed at the end of the thread and rib forming rollers (1) of the rolling machine, and the twist created on the threaded reinforcing bar (B) is corrected by applying plastic processing to the center of the threaded reinforcing bar (B) through rolling the rib (R) of the threaded reinforcing bar (B) from both sides using rollers (2).
