Abstract

The invention relates to an alloy for the manufacture of golf club heads, intended to solve the problem of difficulty in adjusting the angle of existing golf club heads. The alloy for the manufacture of golf club heads shall consist of: 0.1–0.15% carbon, 1–1.42% silicon, 1–1.4% manganese, 3.8–4.2% nickel, 14.5–15.5% chromium, 1.5–2% molybdenum, and the remainder being iron and unavoidable impurities in percentage by weight. In this way, golf club heads produced from this alloy may have better angle adjustment capabilities. Furthermore, the invention relates to a golf club head and a method for heat treatment of a golf club head.
