Abstract

The invention relates to an optical imaging system comprising seven lens elements in order from object-side to image-side along the optical path: first lens element, second lens element, third lens element, fourth lens element, fifth lens element, sixth lens element, and seventh lens element. Each of the seven lens elements has an object-side surface facing the object and an image-side surface facing the image. The third lens element has negative refractive power. The object-side surface of the fifth lens element is concave in its anti-axial region. The sixth lens element has positive refractive power. The seventh lens element has negative refractive power, has an object-side surface convex in its anti-axial region, and an image-side surface concave in its anti-axial region, and has at least one inflection point. The invention also reveals an imaging apparatus comprising an optical imaging system and an electronic apparatus comprising an imaging apparatus.
