Abstract
The invention relates to an anisotropic conductive film (AFF) applicator with enhanced alignment accuracy. More specifically, the applicator comprises: a frame; a cutting unit mounted at the front of the frame, which cuts the ACF film; a feed rail unit mounted at the front of the frame, which transports the material; a mounting unit mounted at the front of the frame, which can move up and down, and which attaches the ACF film cut by the cutting unit to the material transported by the feed rail unit; a lower-mounted camera mounted at the bottom of the frame, which captures and transmits images of the ACF film of the material transported by the feed rail unit; and a control unit which determines the position and alignment status of the ACF film to be attached, based on the ACF film image transmitted by the lower-mounted camera, and simultaneously synchronizes and controls the operation of the cutting unit, feed rail unit, mounting unit, and lower-mounted camera.According to this invention, by using a bottom-viewing camera to capture images of the ACF film being cut by the cutting unit and analyzing the position and alignment status of the ACF film with respect to the material, the alignment accuracy of the ACF film on the material is effectively improved.
