Abstract

The invention relates to a high-temperature resistant lens construction comprising a substrate (1), at least one film assembly (2), and a water-repellent coating (3). The substrate (1) has a substrate body (11) and a hardening layer (12). The hardening layer (12) covers the substrate body (11). The film assembly (2) is coated on one side of the substrate (1). The film assembly (2) consists of at least two first-index (21) films and at least one second-index (22) film. The first-index (21) film has a lower refractive index than the second-index (22) film. One of the first-index (21), second-index (22) films and the remaining first-index (21) film is arranged on the substrate (1) in sequence. At least one of the first-refractive index films (21) contains between 5% and 15% by weight Ta2O5 and 85% and 95% by weight SiO2; the water-repellent coating (3) is applied on the film assembly (2).The difference in thermal expansion coefficient between the first (21) and second (22) refractive index films can be minimized. When there is a sudden temperature change, such as a temperature increase, the films do not easily separate from each other and are able to withstand large temperature changes.
