Abstract

The invention relates to a grab assembly comprising a column containing a recess in which a grab bar is placed. The column comprises a flange with several first openings arranged in a circular pattern. Each first opening contains a corresponding pin for fastening the column to a fixed structure. The shield has a second opening within it. The shield can rotate around the column such that each first opening of the flange is accessible through the second opening at the corresponding rotational position of the shield.
