Abstract

The invention relates to an air fryer comprising a power-heating unit and a frying chamber unit, configured to create a 360° swirling hot air circulation evenly distributed within the frying chamber, aiming to rapidly increase the temperature and ensure even cooking of food on all sides without the need for flipping during frying. The proposed power-heating unit includes a convection fan and a heating plate arranged coaxially above the frying chamber of the unit. The heating plate is in the form of a disc or heating ring, with the heat-generating surface facing downwards to directly transfer heat to the airflow generated by the convection fan, thereby reducing heat loss and shortening heating time. The convection fan is positioned above the heating plate, has a vertical axis of rotation, and is designed to create both axial and tangential airflow, forming a closed-loop three-dimensional swirling airflow within the frying chamber.The fan consists of multiple blades arranged in two axial layers. The lower layer creates the main axial airflow, while the upper layer enhances the swirling element, ensuring even distribution of hot air throughout the frying chamber. Each blade is curved with an appropriate angle to minimize aerodynamic losses and increase airflow efficiency. The heating plate can be constructed from a nickel-chromium alloy resistance wire core, a magnesium oxide insulation layer, and an aluminum metal casing. The fan blades are made from aluminum alloy, preferably silicon-containing aluminum alloys such as ADC12 or A356. Thanks to this configuration, the device can heat up quickly in 3 to 5 minutes and create an evenly distributed hot air flow, ensuring food cooks evenly without needing to be flipped.
