Abstract
The invention relates to a planetary gear reducer with friction rollers comprising a housing in which an input element, a fixed ring, multiple rolling elements, and an output element are arranged. The output element has an output inner ring surface. The fixed ring has a fixed inner ring surface created at the inner ring of the fixed ring. Each rolling element has a first rolling part forming first-stage tensile contact with the fixed inner ring surface and a second rolling part forming second-stage tensile contact with the output inner ring surface. Due to the difference between the effective contact radius of the output inner ring surface and the effective contact radius of the fixed inner ring surface, the output element outputs a much smaller angular velocity than the input element, thereby achieving a size reduction and a high reduction ratio output in a single module while avoiding the hindrance of pre-compression load and traction lubrication.
