Abstract

The invention relates to a method for visual inspection using a computer vision system, comprising the following steps: acquiring at least one real image of the object; creating a composite reference image; determining the corresponding links between the composite reference image and the real image; performing global alignment between the composite reference image and the real image; evaluating the results of global alignment; if alignment is achieved, performing the reference and visual inspection step; and if alignment is not achieved, performing local alignment; if alignment is achieved, performing the reference and visual inspection step again; if alignment is not achieved, issuing a warning.
