Abstract

The invention relates to a coaxial electro-optical laser device for assisting in the calibration of sights for 40 mm caliber guns, based on the principle of straight-line transmission and energy focusing of a laser beam to establish coaxial alignment between the gun barrel axis and the laser beam axis. The device includes a coaxial laser tube assembly (nominal diameter Φ40.5 mm for the SCT-7 gun and Φ40.8 mm for the SPL-40 gun) equipped with a focusing lens system and a laser diode source, along with a camera-display screen for the laser contact on the target, a flexible adjustable mount, and an ABS plastic storage box. The device ensures electro-optical coaxial alignment does not exceed 0.05 mm, and the calibration error does not exceed ±0.2°, increasing accuracy, shortening calibration time by approximately 50%, and requiring only one operator while reducing reliance on the technician's eyesight.
