Abstract
This invention relates to a construction material, specifically ultra-high performance lightweight concrete made from hollow glass microspheres (UHPLC) for use in high-load and large-span structures such as supertall buildings and large-span bridges. The aim of the invention is to develop an optimal UHPLC composition with a rational manufacturing process. To achieve this, the invention proposes using hollow glass microspheres while simultaneously reducing cement to produce ultra-high performance lightweight concrete, including compressive strength exceeding 120 MPa, flexural strength above 14 MPa, and density less than 2000 kg / m³, while having the lowest possible cement and hollow glass microsphere mass.
