Abstract
The invention relates to a self-propelled grease spraying device for gun barrel preservation. The device comprises: a self-propelled assembly moved by compressed air; a grease conduit located within the cylinder end cap and extending along the connecting axis; and a centrifugal self-rotating grease nozzle assembly, in which the nozzle end cap has flow-directing vanes. The characteristic of the invention is the utilization of the kinetic energy of the high-pressure grease and compressed air mixture striking the flow-directing vanes, creating a torque that causes the nozzle assembly to rotate. Thanks to the centrifugal rotation, the grease is atomized and evenly dispersed through the holes in the nozzle housing, covering the entire surface of the gun barrel. The solution does not require an electric motor, increasing fire and explosion safety and simplifying the device structure.
