Abstract
The invention relates to a self-propelled, pneumatically operated gun barrel cleaning device, belonging to the field of defense mechanics. The device comprises a pneumatic oscillator and a coaxially coupled cleaning brush assembly, in which elastic brush bristles contact the inner wall surface of the gun barrel. The brush bristles are configured to create anisotropic friction, thereby converting oscillation into unidirectional translational motion, allowing the device to move along the gun barrel while simultaneously sweeping, scraping, and removing dirt and debris adhering to the surface. Compressed air discharged from the oscillator creates a flow to assist in cleaning. The device has a simple structure, does not use a separate drive mechanism, and is suitable for application to gun barrels with calibers of 20 mm and above.
