Abstract
The invention proposes a process for synthesizing nano and micro forms of calcium acetate from eggshells using hydrolysate from eggshell membranes containing hyaluronic acid-glycosaminoglycan (HA-GAG), soluble proteins, and bioactive peptides, including the following steps: a) separating the eggshell and eggshell membrane; b) obtaining hydrolysate from eggshell membranes containing hyaluronic acid-glycosaminoglycan (HA-GAG), soluble proteins, and bioactive peptides; c) dissolving the eggshells in acetic acid solution to create a calcium acetate solution; and d) reacting the hydrolysate from step (b) with the calcium acetate solution from step c).
