Abstract

The invention refers to a composite beam encased in fire-resistant concrete with a completely new structure that ensures both construction engineering and proactively satisfies the fire prevention and firefighting requirements according to current regulations. The composite beam encased in fire-resistant concrete (1) is made up of a structure including: a beam frame (10) with a trapezoidal cross-section, consisting of a beam web frame (11) with a main steel plate (111) with many first web holes (111d), and two inclined side steel plates (112) made with cut-out second web holes (113); fire-resistant reinforcement (20) consisting of at least two longitudinal steel bars (21) and many transverse steel bars (22) threaded correspondingly through the first (111d) and second (113) web holes of the beam frame (10); and concrete (30) encases the fire-resistant reinforcement (20) and the bottom part of the beam frame (10) to create a fire-resistant reinforced concrete beam flange (16). With this design, the concrete pouring process, as is common in steel structure factories, is eliminated, resulting in a more consistent beam manufacturing process.
