[0001] The present invention relates to a pants-type disposable diaper.

[0003] Conventionally, absorbent articles such as diapers having openings in the waist area to improve breathability have been known. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an absorbent article in which through-holes overlap with elastic members in the vertical direction and the elastic members are discontinuous within the through-holes in the horizontal direction.

1.
