Abstract

The invention relates to a method and system for anti-counterfeiting of fashion products based on a combination of Near Field Communication (NFC), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and decentralized ledger (blockchain) technology. Accordingly, each product is simultaneously fitted with an NFC chip (13.56 MHz frequency) in an easily accessible location and an RFID chip (860–960 MHz frequency) in a hidden location. The process of generating a unique identifier for the product is performed by extracting the unique identifiers of both chips through a compatible programming layer, then sending them to a system server for combination and encryption using the HMAC-SHA256 cryptographic hashing algorithm. To ensure data integrity and security, this identifier is then minted into a non-fungible asset (NFT) on the blockchain network to store the product's status.Authenticity verification is achieved by simultaneously comparing the two existing chip identifiers on the product with stored data, effectively preventing counterfeiting and resolving the "split-brain" issue. The invention provides a multi-layered, transparent, and cost-effective security mechanism for the fashion industry.
