Distributed video surveillance system with automatic device registration and multi-channel notification coordination.

Abstract

The invention proposes a distributed video surveillance system and method with automatic operation and multi-layered security. The system includes at least one video acquisition device (IoT device), a central processing server, a data storage unit, and a notification coordination unit. The invention's distinctive feature lies in the central server's ability to automatically identify identifiers to initialize the configuration of new devices; optimize image data (compression, resizing) to save bandwidth; and implement a parallel layered storage mechanism between local storage and remote / cloud storage with intelligent resource release capabilities. The system also integrates real-time scheduling capabilities to coordinate multi-channel notifications (email, OTT, push notifications) and multi-factor authentication (Session, 2FA / OTP) access control processes.This solution enhances the flexibility, reliability, and security of surveillance systems in distributed network environments.
