Technical process for manufacturing antivenom serum against the Malayan pit viper and green pit viper (Calloselasma rhodostoma + Trimeresurus albolabris Antivenom)

Abstract

This paper describes the technical process for manufacturing a combined antivenom serum for the Malayan pit viper and the green pit viper (Calloselasma rhodostoma and Trimeresurus albolabris Antivenom- F(ab')2). The process, as described in the invention, has created a new drug called the combined Malayan pit viper and green pit viper antivenom serum. This is the first antivenom serum in Vietnam and worldwide with the specific activity of breaking down all toxins from the Malayan pit viper and the green pit viper, the most dangerous and common snake species in Vietnam.
