Abstract

The invention relates to a complex oil pump for a gas turbine engine. The device comprises a first pump with a first pump housing whose main shaft rotates and is attached to the drive gear inside the first pump housing. A second pump has a similar structure with the gear set located inside the second pump housing. The drive gear of the second pump is mounted outside the drive gear shaft of the first pump and is transmitted rotational torque through a wedge or polygonal spline mechanism. The driven gears of both pumps are mounted outside the driven gear shafts. The drive and driven gear shafts run continuously between the two pumps. There is no intermediate shaft seal between the two pumps, thereby reducing the pump length. The drive gears of the pumps are mounted on the same shaft to ensure concentricity, thus making the pumps operate more smoothly and reducing collisions and failures. The pump housings are tightly connected by bolts, and the flanges are in close contact with each other.Additionally, the pump bodies are reinforced with positioning pins to ensure concentricity between the bodies.
