Abstract
The invention relates to a graphene quantum dot material from jackfruit seeds exhibiting antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, photocatalytic, and antimicrobial activity, comprising: i) spherical CuO nanoparticles with a size of 234.7 ± 1.9 nm; of which spherical CuO nanoparticles are synthesized from a solution containing extracts from Syzygium nervosum leaves and copper sulfate (CuSO4.5H2O) at temperatures between 58°C and 62°C for 1 hour; and ii) graphene quantum dot nanoparticles from jackfruit seeds with an average diameter of approximately 3.3 ± 0.1 nm integrated onto the surface of spherical CuO nanoparticles; of which graphene quantum dot nanoparticles from jackfruit seeds are integrated onto the surface of spherical CuO nanoparticles at 70°C for 12 hours.
