PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING THROWABLE EMERGENCY FIRE EXTINGUISHING PRODUCTS

Abstract

The invention relates to a process for making a throwable emergency fire extinguishing product comprising the following steps: (1) preparation of an emergency fire extinguishing solution containing the following components: AFFF foaming agent, xanthan gum viscosity modifier, urea, and a mixture of several inorganic salts; (2) freezing the prepared emergency fire extinguishing solution from Step 1; (3) fabrication of a shaped shell of alginate film covering the prepared solidified emergency fire extinguishing solution from Step 2; and (4) fabrication of a protective shell of polymer film, or paraffin film, or silicon-based film covering the shaped shell of alginate film prepared from Step 3.
