Abstract
The invention relates to a sulfonic-modified chromium-metal-organic framework material and a method for its creation; wherein the sulfonic-modified chromium-metal-organic framework material having a MIL-101 structure comprising clusters of chromium metal {Cr3(OH)(H2O)2(µ3 - O)} linked to organic bridges of naphthalene derivatives modified by sulfonic groups, wherein the naphthalene derivative is naphthalene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid.
