Modular steel-concrete composite beam system

Abstract

The invention relates to a modular steel-concrete composite beam system (1) comprising two end modules (2), a steel body module (3) connected at the construction site, and concrete poured to fill these two modules. The beam end module (2) is prefabricated to standardized dimensions, capable of independent installation into the supporting column of the structure, and consists of: a hollow box-shaped steel body (21) with two open ends; and a gusset plate (22) with a hole (23), fixed to one open end of the steel body (21). The beam body steel module (3) is fabricated independently to the customized dimensions of each structure, placed and fixed in between the two beam end modules (2), and consists of: an inverted C-shaped steel beam shell (31); a U-shaped steel rib system (32) consisting of many U-shaped steels arranged vertically and evenly spread on the inverted C-shaped steel beam shell (31); The load-bearing steel frame (33) and V-shaped angle steel bar (34) are fixed along the top of the U-shaped steel frame (32); and the concrete chamber (35).Concrete is poured in bulk into the hollow cavity (35) of the steel beam body module (3) and the beam end module (2) and simultaneously passes through the opening (23) down to the supporting column of the structure to form a complete steel-concrete composite beam.
