Abstract

The invention relates to a soft interconnected paving mat consisting of one or more mat modules (1), wherein the mat module (1) consists of: several paving slabs (2) arranged in a two-dimensional network and connected to each other by longitudinal (3) and transverse (4) connecting belts, between the paving slabs (2) there is a gap to ensure relative transfer between the paving slabs (2), wherein each paving slab (2) consists of: face plate (7); integrated ridge system (8); belt insertion slots (9); local erosion control material arranged in the gaps between the paving slabs (2); edge belt (5) and excess belt (6) to connect the paving modules (1) together. The invention also relates to a process for constructing this paving mat.
