Abstract
The invention relates to a stainless steel material containing 14.6 to 16.1% by weight of chromium (Cr), 5.4 to 6.2% by weight of nickel (Ni), 1.5 to 2.2% by weight of silicon (Si), 0.001 to 0.05% by weight of carbon (C), 0.3 to 0.8% by weight of manganese (Mn), 2.5 to 3.2% by weight of copper (Cu), 1.2 to 2.0% by weight of cobalt (Co), 0.2 to 0.3% by weight of niobium (Nb), and the remainder being iron (Fe) and impurities. This stainless steel material exhibits superior flowability during casting, enabling the forming of thin cast products. The stainless steel material according to the invention also allows for the reduction of yield stress as required, making forming easier while maintaining high tensile and impact strength. Compared to conventional two-phase stainless steel materials, fracture toughness is significantly increased.
