Sliding rail locking mechanism

Abstract

The invention relates to a sliding rail locking mechanism (10) comprising a base assembly (1), a locking element (21), and a drive element (22), and designed to be mounted on a sliding rail assembly (100) comprising an outer rail (101) and an inner rail (103). The base assembly (1) comprises a base (12), an inner support frame (13), and an outer frame (11) with an outer connecting part (111) and an interlocking part (112). The interlocking part (112) has an upper plate segment (112a), and several interlocking segments extending downwards from the upper plate segment (112a). The inner support frame (13) cooperates with the base (12) to form a moving slot (132d). The locking element (21) has a locking part (211) that is detachable with one of the interlocking segments of the interlocking part (112). The drive unit (22) can move in the moving slot (132d) to make the locking unit (21) rotate so that the locking part (211) of the locking unit (21) is separated from the mating part (112).
