Display modules and display devices

Abstract

The invention relates to a display module and display device. The display module is made up of a cover plate (1), a first adhesive layer (2), a display panel (4), a second adhesive layer (5), and a support layer (6) which are stacked. The display panel (4) consists of a first non-folding region, a first foldable region, and a second non-folding region; the support layer (6) consists of a first region (6a) corresponding to the first foldable region of the display panel (4), and second regions (6b) located on either side of the first region (6a); and in the first direction, at least part of the first region (6a) has a first thickness, at least part of each second region (6b) has a second thickness, and the first thickness is less than the second thickness. According to the display module, the problem of fracture and wrinkling of the support layer caused by the first region (6a) of the support layer (6) being bent repeatedly in the bending region of the flexible display module is significantly reduced.
