Abstract

A light-emitting diode (LED) display device comprises a display plate containing light-emitting diodes in each of the first to third emission regions of the first to third pixel domains; a transmittance-changing layer on the display plate containing first to third buffers and a light-absorbing layer in the space between the first to third buffers or on the side surfaces of each space, the first to third buffers respectively in the first to third emission regions; a modulating electrode on one side of the transmittance-changing layer containing first modulating electrodes respectively in the first and second non-emitting regions; and a touch electrode layer on the other side of the transmittance-changing layer containing first and second touch electrodes respectively corresponding to the first and second modulating electrodes.This configuration allows for control of light transmission to reduce ambient light reflections while maintaining display brightness and integrating touch sensing functionality.
