Abstract

The invention relates to a two-legged riding vehicle comprising a pair of retractable left and right footrests. The pair of retractable left and right footrests: are positioned in front of the pair of main left and right footrests; are separate from the pair of main left and right footrests; and are constructed to allow the rider operating the two-legged riding vehicle to place his feet on them instead of on the pair of main left and right footrests while seated on the rider's saddle. Each of the two retractable left and right footrests, comprising the rider's footrests, is constructed so that the rider operating the two-legged riding vehicle may place his feet on them while seated on the rider's saddle, and each of the parts is constructed to be able to maintain two stable stationary states.Vehicles with side-seated footrests offer the potential to improve the freedom of foot placement for the occupant while driving; improve the occupant's foot positioning; and improve visibility of the occupant's feet and surrounding area.
