Abstract

The invention proposes a crochet needle capable of preventing fraying or breakage of yarn due to slippage by a method other than conventional methods. The crochet needle 10 is attached to an industrial knitting machine for use and includes: a needle body 11 with a pin support groove 24 formed in the sliding part 22 on which the yarn slips during knitting; and a pin 35 placed in the pin support groove 24 and attached to the needle body 11 in a rotatable manner. The sliding part 22 is formed with an oil groove 30 capable of retaining lubricant along the longitudinal direction of the needle body 11.
