Abstract

The invention relates to an optical imaging system comprising five lens elements arranged sequentially from the object side to the image side along an optical path: the first lens element, the second lens element, the third lens element, the fourth lens element, and the fifth lens element. Each of the five lens elements has its object-facing surface oriented toward the object and its image-facing surface oriented toward the image. The first lens element has a positive refractive power. The object-facing surface of the second lens element is concave in its anti-axial region. The fifth lens element has a negative refractive power. The image-facing surface of the fifth lens element is concave in its anti-axial region. The invention also relates to an imaging apparatus comprising an optical imaging system and an electronic apparatus comprising an imaging apparatus.
