Illuminated display device

Abstract

A light-emitting display device consists of a substrate, pixels, a first smoothing layer, a second smoothing layer, an anode electrode, an emitting layer, and a cathode electrode. The pixels are arranged on the substrate. Each pixel has an emitting region and a non-emitting region. The first smoothing layer is positioned in the non-emitting region with the first refractive index on the substrate. The second smoothing layer is positioned in the emitting region with the second refractive index higher than the first. The second smoothing layer protrudes from the first smoothing layer. The anode electrode is positioned on the second smoothing layer in the emitting region. The emitting layer is positioned on the anode electrode, the first smoothing layer, and the second smoothing layer. The cathode electrode is positioned on the emitting layer.
