Abstract

The invention relates to a sliding rail assembly (20) comprising a first rail (21), a second rail (22), a third rail (23) and a limit mechanism (10). The first rail (21) has a rail-interlocking structure (A). The second rail (22) can move relative to the first rail (21). The third rail (23) can move relative to the second rail (22). The limit mechanism (10) includes a limit element (12) connected to the third rail (23). The limit element (12) cooperates with the rail-interlocking structure (A) to determine the limit distance (D1) between them when the sliding rail assembly (20) is not extended. When the sliding rail assembly (20) is extended so that the third rail (23) moves relative to the first rail (21) by the limit distance (D1), the limit element (10) can engage with the rail-interlocking structure (A).
