Abstract

The absorbent garment is shaped like underwear (1) and consists of: an outer component (20, 30); and a main absorbent body (10) which includes an absorbent core (11), a top sheet (12), and a pair of leak-proof wall sections (3) provided on both sides in the left-right direction and each section having a leak-proof wall elastic component (16) that can stretch and contract along the longitudinal direction. Leak-proof wall end fixings (41, 42) are provided on both ends (46) of the leak-proof wall section, respectively. The intermediate fixing of the leak-proof wall (43) is provided on the intermediate section (47) which is located away from both ends (46). The leak-proof wall section (3) can stand upright thanks to the stretchability of the leak-proof wall elastic component (16). The elastic crotch component (17) is provided on the non-skin contact side and overlaps at least partially the intermediate fixation of the leak-proof wall (43), with its longitudinal length being longer than the longitudinal length of the intermediate fixation.
